In a Cornish pasty factory, an unexpected bat invasion spiced up the meat grinders, unleashing the 'Mad Pasties Disease,' a zombie-flavored virus that's now on a global adventure. The Secret Penzance medical research facility guards humanity's final shot, armed with a DNA sample from patient zero. As cities crumble like flaky crusts, time is running out to create and distribute an antidote.

We had a really nice time at 28 Pasties Later. It was a nice mix of puzzle types and a fun story that blends local culture into your typical zombie escape room. Great game master who walked us through the Easter eggs after we escaped. Also, I was worried about it being too scary, but it really wasn't scary at all. More like silly/gory a la Shaun of the Dead than actually scary. Lots of puzzles to keep a team of 4 occupied, but we easily escaped with just two players. Definite must visit if you are in Penzance.

We really enjoyed this room: some good puzzles and good ideas.
Fairly non-linear, a range of things to find and types of puzzles to solve. It's fairly new, so it may be even further refined in the future.
More silly than scary: it sets the scene effectively without taking itself too seriously.
Very well treated: we were encouraged throughout and provided with hints when needed.
