Years ago, a sadistic serial killer known only as The Butcher terrorized the city with a gruesome spree of chilling murders. Each victim was discovered brutally mutilated, their bodies disturbingly altered by someone with a twisted mastery of taxidermy. After months of panic and relentless investigation, authorities finally captured The Butcher. Now, years later, the nightmare has returned. Four women have recently been found murdered in exactly the same manner, complete with The Butcher’s signature grotesque trophies. However, there’s one impossible fact: The Butcher remains locked securely behind bars, isolated from the outside world. Desperate for answers and working entirely off the record, a retired detective has secretly enlisted your team to infiltrate the long-sealed lair of this infamous killer. As you step into The Butcher’s eerie sanctuary, the line between hunter and hunted begins to blur. The air feels heavy with dread, and each discovery brings more questions than answers. You must work quickly to piece together the clues before you become the next grim addition to his chilling collection. This story was very well put together and the props and stage was very nice a lot like all of the games at trapped in the upstate.

This location is tucked away in a multitude of buildings I am familiar with the area so it was not difficult for me but I see how it could be for people not from the area. They do have plenty of signs to lead you to the area.

Really enjoyed this game! The set was well done, lots of puzzles that flowed well, and the story was interesting. The one knock I have is multiple tech puzzles were finicky, requiring touching or pulling or turning in very specific ways to trigger the next thing - the gm had to come on a couple times when she saw we were doing it correctly but wasn’t triggering. That being said some of the tech was pretty cool that they did.

My wife and I loved this room. Room was very well themed and is doable with 2 people. The room fit the creepy vibe without being scary. Puzzles flowed well. Must do room at Trapped.

From the moment you step into the room to the very end, the tension and creepy atmosphere are perfectly set. It’s unsettling and immersive without being outright scary. The puzzles flowed really well and made logical sense, which I always appreciate. While nothing was particularly difficult, each puzzle was fun and satisfying to complete. I especially enjoyed the final task. It was a fun and exciting way to wrap things up. This is definitely the best room at the Greer location!
