The Trials

My group and I just did an escape room trip across the state of California and we all agreed that this was one of our top games out of the 20+ that we played over the course of the week we were in the state. The combination of the staff, room mechanics and layout were just unbelievably surprising. There’s one particular thing in this game that happens that I’ve never experienced in 250+ games played and it had my jaw on the floor. I loooooved this experience and wish we could play it again for the first time!

Our GM, Riley, was absolutely amazing!!!! Truly a one of a kind room and if you get Riley as a GM, then you’re in for a very good time!

This room was phenomenal! Such a crazy and unique concept for a room that was executed perfectly. It was a good mix of scary but doable. I highly recommend!!!

so awesome never done a room like this before. so many cool aspects and very unique story. wasn’t super scary, darkness is the only thing that got me but other than that it was fine. the puzzles themselves werent too hard, still got me thinking pretty good but nothing super difficult. I’ve played a lot of rooms so 2 people was perfect for me i would feel like it moved too quickly with more people, but i’d say if you’re less experienced then 3-4 is a good amount. 10/10 recommend

WOW. A room you’ve never seen before. A story line different than others. Spooky but not scary room. Loved every second of it

This experience is story-driven and the puzzles fit well with the story. If I could do it again, I would recommend just fully enjoying each moment and not rushing too much about the time. This may be hard though as the atmosphere is spooky and there is an unsettling presence following you around. That’s all I can say. We did this room with a group of four and that was a good number for everyone to have something to do. They will tell you in the beginning that they can only give you 3 clues or the experiment will fail, so that could feel intimidating at first, but just focus and your group will succeed! There is a live actor and they do require signing a second waiver! Loved the refreshing take of the medical experiment theme (even though I’m a scaredy cat) and I really enjoyed my time here with the perfect amount of scare and interaction.

The game focuses on one central prop, but does a good job of varied environments. Light on the scares but still spooky. The less you know the better, give it a try!

What a great room. This room is very unique and the way the layout was used was amazing. Have not experienced that in any of my escape room journey. The scariness was the great amount of scary and I’m a scaredy cat lol.

This was a very unique room with some creepy moments. We were a team of 2 enthusiast, and 2 upcoming enthusiast and needed only one nudge/hint. Puzzles were unique as was the progression of the game. Not a terrifying experience but definitely had us on our toes. Definitely recommend this one for those who like a moderate scare.

At first, hearing we only had 3 clues to use was intimidating, but we didn’t use any. The rooms flowed really well. The first puzzle is a bit tricky and it takes a few minute to try different variations, but it’s definitely doable! We had fun with our actor changes! This was a unique and fun room! There was one puzzle that I was like, “no it’s not going to make us do that..” and it did! Brilliant puzzle! Thank you for a refreshing, new scary game!
