Borderlands Tannis’s Lab

It was an ok room. Didn't play the game, but the robot was cool. It's really hard to listen to the robot while the game is going on though. Puzzles were generally easy, but fairly confusing. Sometimes you might accidentally solve something and have no idea why. The puzzles are fairly parallel though. The staff was friendly, but feel like it's their first time running an escape room. They didn't offer to take pictures, and left us waiting in the lobby well past our scheduled start time.

Pros: cool set design and a few creative puzzles Cons: hard to hear audio on the speakers, it can be difficult to figure out what to work on, several elements in the room were not functioning correctly

This room was really good. It was so well themed. As a borderlands fan, it felt like I was stepping foot on pandora. It was so cool. All the puzzles were intuitive and we progressed naturally from one to the other. We didn’t even really need a clue. Our Game Master, Mico, was amazing, and we had a blast. One of our favorite experiences we’ve ever had. The only negative I can find, and it’s really only nitpicking, is that I feel like it might be a bit too linear for a larger group because there might not always be enough to keep everyone occupied, but that’s perfectly fine for us because we’re rolling with two people.
