Big Brain Labs

Firstly, just for context I am an experienced escape room fan having done over 50 rooms to date. This was a really cool room that has some clever puzzles and good mix of linear and nonlinear components. I would say no more than 4 people for experienced people as you will probably get thru it with ample time. I still loved the tech in the room since we had no issues and it was fun to work in pairs. Probably going to be one of the easier rooms but was still enjoyable for my group. I love all the rooms at this location and our GM Derek treated us well so overall we had a fun experience.

I’m not one to post on here, but given the numerous VERY positive reviews (which convinced me to purchase), I thought it was important to share our experience. We’re avid 60out-ers, and respect the franchise, but we were not satisfied with this room - especially considering the price. This room is designed and built beautifully, but it is not a difficult escape room whatsoever. The linear nature of the room means that only one or two people are actively engaged unless the puzzle requires you to be in multiple places at once. Every puzzle is very straightforward requiring more reactivity than problem solving. If you’re with kids, this is probably an excellent room. If you’re an experienced escape roomie, it’s probably worth a skip.

This is a high production value escape room with some fun puzzles! Plus our game master, Becca, was a delight!

An array of different puzzles - all totally different so it will keep you on your toes. Def need at least three people because you need more hands!

Wow. Can’t say enough good things about Big Brain Labs. We’ve done ~30 escape rooms across the US over the years and this one really blew us away. The design, story, accessibility, vibe? All above and beyond. The games? Like being inside a Mario Party game but better. If you like escape rooms, play this game. If you don’t like escape rooms, play this game. This game brought a HUGE smile to my face and MASSIVE joy to my heart! It’s not gonna be the hardest game you play this week, get over it and enjoy yourselves. It sooooooo fun!

For someone like me that needs organization, this room does very much fit the lab / science theme. The puzzles are labeled so it’s obvious which ones to work on next and the puzzles get increasingly harder the more you do them. There are opportunities for groups to split up and work on different puzzles at a time. There is even a map that displays how the room is laid out! From a design perspective, I am so impressed at how they can adjust the puzzle difficulty remotely to nudge groups along or to satisfy groups that want more of a challenge. This is a highly technical room - no locks and keys here. This room also has material that feels like it could stand the test of time, good for wear and tear and for people who press the buttons too hard! One stand out is their accessibility feature that the participants can themselves adjust, which I have not seen in any other escape rooms before. If the sounds get too loud, you yourself can adjust the volume without having to wait on your game master. 60 Out is on to something with a room like this! They have done a lot of things well - the story, the puzzles, the production value, the experience itself, and the accessibility inherent in the design from the beginning is the icing on the cake! I know this is one of their newest rooms and I hope more people can come and experience what we did. It was so much fun!

This was a very cool room and you can feel and see that a lot of love was put into its creation and build. It was not my favorite experience as I think some of the puzzles were flawed (one in particular felt v out of place) but the set design is FANTASTIC and I do believe it’s worth doing.

This was an amazing room! There was such a great variety to the puzzles that it felt like there was something to tickle anyone. I loved the design and the theme was so thorough, it was more like a fully fleshed out world. Cute, fun, and Jessica was a great gm.
