Hell Hole Monastery

‏This room completely blew me away with its massive scale and incredible, insanely realistic sets. It’s probably the most beautiful monastery I’ve ever seen in an escape room. ‏The actors are completely crazy, and the room is terrifying! The actresses literally disappear within seconds, and they do it so well that you genuinely start feeling like you’re hallucinating. 😂 ‏The puzzles flow really well, and there are also some absolutely insane effects throughout the experience. ‏Definitely a must play if you’re in Athens. Highly recommended! 🔥

Hell Hole Monastery by Shadow Horror Live Games was the 1st game of Day 6 and the 16th room of our Athens Escape Tour 2026, played with the same team of five. This one took all of us by surprise. From the very beginning, the setting and design are on a grand scale, creating a majestically immersive environment supported by excellent lighting and sound effects. The initial impression is a real wow moment that immediately pulls you into the experience. The puzzles were fun and very well integrated into the theme, keeping the flow smooth while maintaining the atmosphere. As expected in Athens, there are well-acted cinematic scenes throughout, with one in particular standing out as truly impressive. Everything comes together to create a memorable and intense experience that stays with you after finishing. A must play for fans of thrillers and jump scare driven games. Truly unforgettable. This one ranks within the top 5 of the tour for me.

This was the first horror game we played in Athens, and it immediately became one of the most immersive games we ever played. Everything is great; the actors, the decoration, and the story blend together and a horrifying but beautiful story. We played it with only 2 players, and this can get quite intense. However, you get some rest at some points in the story, and this feels nice and gives you time to take a breath. The staff was very kind afterwards and took the time to answer our questions.
