A Chilling Story-Driven Adventure. Classic Escape Room Puzzles. Immersive Narrative. You’re no longer just a player—you’re a guest of The Alley Hotel. Once a grand 1920s establishment with velvet drapes and marble floors, The Alley fell into silence in the 1980s after a string of unexplained disappearances. Now, after decades sealed away, the doors have creaked open again… and you’re among the first to walk its halls. But you’re not alone. Sometimes, you may even encounter unwanted guests walking the halls. This experience unfolds as an immersive escape room, combining hands-on puzzles with a story that pulls you deeper into the hotel’s mysteries. Each room reveals a different part of the story—you’ll inspect abandoned luggage, flip through decaying ledgers, uncover what lies behind mirrors that should never move… and interact with objects that are not only seen, but smelled and felt. Scents of old wood, faint perfume, and something darker linger in the air. Textures are unnerving—smooth, slimy, cold, or sticky—forcing you to engage all your senses as the hotel tests your nerve. The air is cold, the walls groan, and the lights flicker… sometimes in response to things you can’t quite see. Check in. Walk the halls. Touch. Smell. Listen.

This wasn’t the kind of escape room where you show up and wait for your game to start. The experience begins right away and feels continuous the whole time. It’s very different from a traditional escape room, but in a way that makes it more fun and memorable.

Absolutely adored this room. I would say it’s more of an immersive experience than your run of the mill escape room. It is the most fun I’ve ever had in a room before. However, if you are a seasoned player & used to a traditional escape room, this might throw you off just a bit. The puzzles aren’t the most unique but the story is. The game master is brilliant and had me just in the best mood the entire time. I loved the banter and jokes and just off the wall behavior. It takes some getting used to but you can tell the owner loves what he does and has such a heart for it. Highly recommend this experience and haven’t stopped talking about it since.

So much fun! Can't wait to come back for the valentines room. I love that the game starts before you even enter your escape

The tour was really fun. It felt like we were part of the story instead of just solving puzzles. The rooms were creepy but in a way kids and adults could enjoy, and the puzzles made sense. The live actor helped out when we got stuck and made it feel more personal. I’d definitely recommend it for families or anyone who likes a story-driven escape room.

This room is, to be honest, grating. The actor stays with you the whole time, he speaks in an Australian accent that stops being funny quickly, he shouts nonsense in your ear, and practically does all the puzzles for you. If you spend longer than a minute, he shouts hints and clues at you without considering that maybe you don’t want help. The room is also just poorly constructed. They also have puzzles spread out that aren’t even a part of the room you’re doing, wasting your time when you’re trying to solve a puzzle that you’re not supposed to. But don’t worry! He’ll yell in your ear that you’re working on the wrong puzzle. As a massive escape room enthusiast, I’ve never left a room feeling irritated and overwhelmed, so this is a first time. I think there’s a lot of great potential if this guy learns how to edit his decoration, make the puzzles only applicable to the room you’re doing, and cool it with his comedy routine.

Very fun room. Live actor is a lot more involved than most other rooms. And the decorations were phenomenal. The puzzles may not have been unique, but they were all really well thought out and completely on theme.

Absolutely cool place! Nothing like a lot of those plastic pre fabricated totally fake looking escape rooms out there, no this place is about as real as it gets and same thing for the story, totally unique

This place was an absolute favorite of mine. I loved the non-traditional side of it. Even just walking into the lobby was an experience on its own — the décor, the atmosphere, the vibe… it pulls you in before the game even starts. The room itself was incredibly immersive. The size, the detail, the story, the surprises it all felt next-level compared to other escape rooms I’ve done. You can tell how much thought and creativity went into every corner. If you’re looking for something unique, and totally different from the usual escape room this is it.
