Lots of great automation in this one. Some of the puzzles were a little counterintuitive for us, but overall a great time.

Good time, but some of the puzzles we accidentally solved or brute forced. Preferred The Apartment Next Door.

The set of Forsaken Temple was nothing short of awesome. A totally immersive experience thanks to awesome set-design at Omescape. As usual, many of the puzzles were complex and required hints to move forward. But overall a fun experience!

I see this is rated “not scary” but i was a little bit spooked lol and def screamed at one point on accident (it’s dark, loud noises, etc). If you’re a scaredy cat like me then just beware. Otherwise, fun room, cool set, another omescape win. The final puzzle is kind of wishh washy though, we definitely solved part of it by accident which is a bummer.

Darker than expected. High quality room with multiple doors to solve. Puzzles flowed well with the theme. The room has an older feel than the others in the building. However, you can’t go wrong with Omescape in Sunnyvale.

One person has to crawl down something.

An underrated epic adventure game that gets slightly bogged down by too much unnecessary movement for the use of a couple gameplay mechanics between rooms and unnecessary story scenes that get this- require more unnecessary movement between rooms for the group to see them. If these issues were fixed and there was just a little bit more pizzaz to the game (especially more usage of a particular game mechanic that feels like something straight from a video game) this would probably be in my top 10, but as is this game still deserves the heart rating and stands up with the rest of the Omescape Sunnyvale games.

Honestly I feel like this either should have done less in the storytelling or gone much further. The cutscenes feel like they’re over-explaining things that are already present within the game.

Probably more climbing and crawling than most other escape rooms and definitely a lot of walking.
Definitely not for those with mobility issues.

Forsaken Temple is one of Omescape weaker rooms, but even then it is still much better then 90% of what you'll find out in the wilds. It has some very cool and unique puzzles, a good mix of physical mental and communication, and some pretty good set design (and as always, great tech). If you are traveling, this is a room you don't have to play but is worth the time if you do. For locals, you should definitely make your way inside the Temple and discover it's secrets!

Omescape is a solid company. Any game at this location won't disappoint.

Theming was great, and many of the puzzles were fun to solve. However way too much time spent going back and forth between rooms, and some puzzle solutions were a stretch or required huge leaps in logic. Physically demanding (crawling, climbing, high steps, etc.) so players need to be fully mobile or else just stand on the outside at times. No real cohesive storyline, and not enough simultaneous puzzles to make it fun for larger groups. Overall still enjoyable, but somewhat unsatisfying due to the lack of cohesion.
