Rating: 4/5 - Great challenge arcade with cool sets, I prefer this over Mish Mash or Cube Challenges. Pros: ➕~25 rooms with a ton of variety between physical and mental challenges ➕A unique set/theme in each room, they are all visually interesting ➕Lots of tech and mechanical builds ➕You get a score so you can try to beat it when you replay the room ➕The time travel theme ties everything together, each room has a backstory that you can choose to read or ignore ➕There's a short explanation before you go in so that you aren't completely confused at the start ➕No tech issues or major wear visible, though the place has only been open a couple months Cons: ➖Some rooms are hard to understand or just aren't that fun ➖Some rooms are too short or basic ➖The audio feedback is hard to hear at times, due to audio bleed from ajacent rooms and a lot of screaming kids ➖A couple rooms were closed/unplayable when I visited 90 minutes was plenty of time to play all the rooms with some time to repeat favorites, even on a busy Sat afternoon. I would recommend 2-3 players. Overall, I'd rate this on a similar level as Activate, but both places have a different vibe. Activate is more video game-like and more tech heavy with no immersion or theming. I like Activate's very physical nature, it's like a fun workout. Their games are also more replayable with different levels and rule variations. However, Time Mission has way cooler sets and theming and more variety of games and more puzzle type challenges.

Super fun! Went with my husband and 9 year old daughter to try this place out with no real idea if it would be a hit with both the kid and the adults. Such a blast! Every room was totally different and very well themed and decorated. One second I’m balancing on a ledge over lava, then I’m frantically trying to push dozens of buttons while buried in a giant ball pit, next I’m acting as Big Brother spying on dozens of people via CCTV, then suddenly I’m running through a Pyramid searching for hieroglyphics, literally minutes later I’m watching my daughter dodge lasers to break into a secure vault, and that’s only after deciding I make a better sub captain then a sword balancer. Don’t even get me started on the larger then life multi lane ski ball! Entire family wants to go back asap and my daughter wants to have her next birthday here. Best part for me was no age restriction I’ve seen in other places like this, my 9 year old didn’t have to miss out. Five stars. If you go couple pro tips: Dress comfy but in layers you may start cold but you’re gonna sweat. (They have free lockers) Read the ipad descriptions BEFORE going into the rooms- once inside the room it’s go time and you dont wanna waste time trying to figure out whats happening. (Dont be afraid to play a room multiple times) Your group cannot split up. The room will DQ you if someone say hangs back and decides to try different room while you are in the other one Time moves faster then you think, we did an hour and a half and even though most rooms are about three minutes or less I felt like we had plenty of time left, like a half hour or so and we were already out of time. Remaining time is displayed on screen in each room. Staff were really nice and enthusiastic. Like surprisingly so. Usually the staff at places like this are kinda “half there” these guys felt more like disney employees.
