In 1917, a discreet orphanage was located at this address, hidden in the shadows of old churches and war-torn houses. Today, the building no longer serves its original purpose—in its place stands a renovated building, marked only by a historical plaque and a quiet air. Only the neighboring walls perhaps still retain the echo of a lost history.
