Was ok - puzzles were really just finding codes and unlocking things.

Rating: 2.5/5 Pretty standard/basic room, puzzles weren't interesting, and there were a lot of locks. I'd rate this a Mediocre/meh if that was an option. The set was a bit plain (especially the first part), I've seen much more elaborate mansion sets (the CLUE room at this same location has a much better set), and I didn't find it spooky at all. If you're an enthusiast, I'd recommend skipping this one. I've done every room here and the staff is consistently great though. Update: I've played almost all the rooms at this Breakout location, my personal ranking starting with my favorite: 1. Clue β€οΈ 2. Museum Heist π 3. Bomb Squad/Undercover Alley π 4. Submarine Survival π 5. Mystery Mansion π 6. Runaway Train π 7. Kidnapping 2 π 8. Island Escape π 9. The Kidnapping π

This is the first spooky escape room that I did and I had a blast! I did scream at one point and after the game was over I asked if he heard the scream and he said yes and he might or might not have laughed π. This is my favorite room that I played at Breakout Games because of how much fun I had. Plus, Arie was our game master and even a year later I remember his name because he was the best game master that Iβve ever had. It honestly felt like he was in the room with us when we asked for hints/got stuck. He always knew where we were in the game. We didnβt have to explain where we were or where we got stuck.

There is a part of the room where the entrance is a bit narrow so Iβm not sure if a wheelchair would fit through it or not. Youβd have to call and ask.

We had an awesome experience with this room. It was one of our favorites at this location. The staff is awesome, and the puzzle design is exceptional. The theme was consistently at the forefront of the set and puzzles.
This was a very inventive story with excellent puzzles that flowed great into the next. The story kept us very engaged and craving the next step once a puzzle was complete. Excellent puzzle design.
The puzzles, set, and the interaction between the two was very inventive and engaging.
Our GM Ari was exceptional in every regard.
Yes
The plot was integrated completely with the puzzle. This was our first room, and 26 rooms later we still remember it vividly.
Hard
Mechanical
In keeping with the theme, most devices were mechanical but there were a couple of really neat non-mechanical interactions and effects.

Not scary
A couple of slight jump scares, but nothing too intense at all. We are wimps about jump scares and it wasnβt too much for us by any means.
