Der Weihnachts(t)raum [The Christmas Dream]

The concept of the room is from KeyTown Kaiserslautern, thus it’s not a room unique at Agent Y in Brühl. It was our first time playing a room with a loop concept which thus was a new twist. I personally feel they over-explained the concept beforehand, it would have been more fun to figure out by ourselves how the loop works e.g. how long one loop is; which indications there are how far in the loop you are; what exactly happens between loops - all this was explained before entering the room by the game master which took away some potential fun “aha”-click moments. The time between the loops was a bit long at times, I think with some more technical equipment instead of the game master setting up the room for each new loop this could have been shortened. Nevertheless all in all a very interesting concept and I am looking forward to playing more loop-based escape rooms in the future.
