Very clever game with good atmosphere. Would highly recommend to anyone. But if you have a good grasp on chemistry this might be a breeze for you.

Gameplay

Loved it!

Atmosphere

The theme was cool and we felt like the puzzles were very thematically on point.

Customer service

We actually met one of the owners this time round and it was so nice chatting about the time and effort they take into designing these rooms.

We finished all of the games in the other location and saw this one opened up. We went with our 4 YO son on our anniversary. The staff were all very kind and cared a lot about the experience and setting. The game itself was on the easier end, although there a challenge mode we could have done too. It was preferred for that to be the case because it enabled us to involve our son, who is young but has been developing a love for escape rooms. The set itself was really cool. Good mix of tech, mental puzzles, etc. No physical limitations were presented by the game. Overall really cool room that was family friendly and I can't wait to see what they'll build in the near future and come back!

Gameplay

It was fun without being overly challenging or stressful.

Atmosphere

Staff was super nice and the room itself had a fun design element to it.

Customer service

GM was super nice. He helped to design the set by hand! You can tell he cared about the experience.

Physically active

Not at all

Not a lot of physicality required. Mental puzzles and relatively small area.

My two daughters (aged 12 and 10) and myself played the new Biohazard room and we LOVED it. It was perfectly challenged to allow them to lead the solve, but still allowing a challenge for me as well. As with all Deadline rooms, the space is immersive, creative, and brilliantly put together. We always make sure to play a Deadline room when we’re visiting Reno!

Great new addition to the Deadlines lineup. Everything was awesome and very cleverly designed. Can’t wait for the other rooms to open. Will definitely do this one on challenge mode next time!

Sooo much fun! I have to admit, I absolutely sucked at science/chemistry in college - If only those subjects were taught like this!! The clues were challenging without being frustrating (we chose the standard version); Sean is super helpful, as always; and we always feel so appreciated. We have done almost every escape room in the area and DEADLINE is seriously the best. We are impatiently waiting for the next room to open at DEADLINE 2.

I really enjoyed this room. I was a little nervous that I wouldn’t because of the theme and because there were so many locks visible when you first enter, but the story really came through and there was a mix of tech and locks and everything fit the space nicely. There were a few stand out puzzles that really impressed and the set was really well done. Deadline always does a nice job, especially considering that it is all made in-house.

Gameplay

Everything was signposted well and it flowed nicely.

Atmosphere

Great set.

Customer service

One of the owners was our GM. He was nice and we chatted about the local escape room scene.

Particularly interesting or different

Yes

Not my favorite theme, but it actually had a great story that came through.

Story

The story was unique and really came through.

Difficulty

Medium

We played it in challenge mode with three players and finished with no clues with 15 minutes to spare. That said, there are some puzzles that are math heavy and there are a few puzzles that could be tough for newer players.

Game tech

A mix. There are a bunch of locks, but also a ton of tech.

Ideal number of players

4

4 or 5 people is probably ideal. There’s plenty to do, but the space isn’t large so too many people could be a bit tight.

Deadline doesn't disappoint. Speaking with the owner, it's clear he and his wife love the art of escape rooms, and it translates into their rooms. Biohazard is their first room at their new location. My husband and I played it opening weekend and chose the Challenge Mode. I appreciate that there was a choice between Standard and Challenge Modes, and that it was explained when booking what the difference was. My husband and I have done over 100 escape rooms, so we opted for the Challenge Mode. There was one puzzle element that we had never experienced before, which was fun and nostalgic for both of us. The story itself flowed well, the puzzles flowed well, and I don't think anything was so hard that only the GMs could understand it. Lastly, there was enough to do in Challenge Mode that my husband and I could each be working on puzzles. I'm very excited for their other rooms at their new location to open!

Deadline did it again with a great fun room! Amazing use of technology with a good blend of keys. There's a regular or challenging version. We did the challenging one as a team of two and had 6 minutes left. A few very unique puzzles where a beginner may get caught up not noticing a puzzle prompt. But for an enthusiast it flows perfectly!
