Le Royaume [The Kingdom]

Newly opened game in the medieval city of Carcassonne. A great combination of my favourite hobby (escape rooms) and my favourite board game (Carcassonne!). You don’t have to know the board game to enjoy it, but there are strong links to it throughout - the tiles, the meeple, the expansion features. The gamesmaster was enthusiastic and told us that it had been created with Enigma City (TERPECA awarded escape room company in Toulouse), which explains why the puzzles were solid. Nice mixture of physical and logic puzzles, some multilayered. The story was whimsical, the set decor was perfectly on theme, and the game flowed really well. As a team of 2 experienced players we completed it in 33 minutes so it is probably on the easier side, but this did not take away by how fun it was. Please go play this game!! Especially if you love the board game :)
