Gold Rush

What a way to strike gold! 💰⛏️ This was a super fun room and, sadly, our final room from the Nashville franchise — but what a great one to end on! As always, the staff at TEG were absolutely incredible, and their customer service is truly unmatched. They went above and beyond to make our last room especially memorable, even giving us a handwritten card to commemorate the occasion. It was such a thoughtful personal touch, and it really speaks to how much they care about their customers. You can tell that the experience goes well beyond just the room itself. The room was another great TEG experience, with clever, hands-on puzzles that kept us engaged and having a blast. We had a golden time searching for our fortune and working our way through the room! We’re very fond of TEG as a business as a whole, and their attention to detail and incredible hospitality are a huge part of why. We’re sad to have finished all of the Nashville rooms, but we can’t wait to come back in a few years and see what new adventures they dig up next. 🪏 Until then, we’ll just have to say this one was worth its weight in gold! 🪎⛏️

Absolutely loved this game, theming wise one of my favorites at TEG!

Adding not a spoiler, but important note: shooting a gun is part of this room! More below. Gold Rush was a very fun room that most closely has been replicated in style in the newest Legend of the Yeti room by TEG. My husband and I very quickly moved through the first room before making it into the second stage, which features a task that requires shooting a bb-gun at a target. The gun itself is carefully chained to the wall with very little give, so it cannot be removed from the barred enclosure. The design is very meticulously made so that no injuries can occur, and it very much ties into the scenery of the room.

It was fine, but the room was pretty run down. I believe two of the puzzles were removed from the experience and we didn’t get to use the slide which kind of was a bummer but there was still some cool things and most of the puzzles flowed relatively nicely. However the game master was honestly way to overbearing and I assumed we must have been doing pretty bad when it felt like she was, without prompting, giving us hints every two minutes but we escaped with about 12 minutes left so we definitely could have had more time to figure things out on our own. We were barely one or two minutes into the shooting range and only one person had shot when she asked us if we wanted to just skip it, and I was like “um, no”? I didn’t pay forty bucks to skip the most interesting puzzle in the room give me some time to at least try it? She was fine to talk to but I just wished she gave us a chance to really figure things out for ourselves before deciding she needed to rush in. Overall the room was fine, but definitely run at this TEG location though.

We enjoyed this room as a family of four with a 12 and 8 year old. We all worked together and escaped within good time. We only asked for 1 clue. Everyone was able to participate and solve the puzzles. We all felt really good afterward and the kids were just really happy with the experience. A great time!

We loved this room! It's a great room, and it's cool that they have a wheelchair lift for the stairs so they're accessible. Love the hidden parts of the room, and the puzzles. Everything in this room flowed well and made sense, making it an easier room and a good room for beginners. It's cool because the theming was very well done, so you really feel immersed in the room while you're in it.
