14 escape rooms
My friend and I have done dozens of escape rooms, and this is one of the rare ones that we did not manage to complete. The setting and story were cool, if a little vague. Bonus points for none of the puzzles being a physical number code lock, which is unique. Some of the puzzles were really fun and unique, but others were a bit confusing, and we wasted over 15 minutes on one puzzle alone due to the setup being unclear (we had already solved it, but thought it had more parts due to how the clue was given). I would give this room an 7/10. Fun, but had a few frustrations.
Gameplay overall was fun, but some parts of some puzzles seemed disjointed, or instructions were unclear (not intentionally vague like for puzzles, they were just not explained correctly).
Slightly spooky, has a few surprise latches come undone in a way that makes you jump. Very well done!

I liked this one. Probably my favorite of the 831's we've done. (of like, 2, lol). Pretty generic sub game. Good for smaller groups, I'd say keep at 4 max.

I really enjoyed this game. The setting was great, really had a great submarine feel. The soundtrack was very motivating. That first puzzle though⦠ugh, frustrating. Not a bad puzzle, just ducked for me & my lousy coordination. ;)

Solid room but we felt a bit lost at times. Could have used a little better direction or maybe we were just off that day lol. Set design was great and puzzles were a lot of fun once we got our groove going

Set: Good submarine feel. Good use of tech. Only flaw was some use of wood for some bits of the room which would have felt much better in plastic or metal. Puzzles: Simple but logical and satisfying. A decoding puzzle went on a bit longer than it needed to. Me: I had quite a few satisfying moments communicating with the rest of the team, solving puzzles and enjoying the set.
