After years in the making, we are finally opening our biggest and most elaborate experience! We created Project Minotaur without any financial analysis and spared no expense to bring our greatest and most exhilarating creation to life. It was a long and tough process filled with blood, sweat, and tears that began in December of 2015. In the middle of this journey, many of the assets used in the creation process had become obsolete and outdated which would have left the room feeling lackluster and tired. Our desire has always been to present rooms that feel lively and fresh with immersive stories to be shared which led us to stripping down what was old so that we could provide our players with a state-of-the-art experience. Project Minotaur is not only our most epic thriller, but it is in fact our grandest design that measures over 1600 square feet, nearly three times the size of "normal" escape games. While the sheer size of the project added to an already difficult task, our drive to create saw us through. Now in our final stages of fine tuning and perfection, we are excited to share our creation with the world! We love what we do and we do it with pure, unconditional love. So many people have poured themselves into this project and contributed in different ways from start to finish which makes us happy to share it with you who appreciate what we do. This room is not an escape room. This is an EVENT. It is an immersive experience, a Thrill Theater with challenges that will push you to the limit - and it should be played as such.

I had a lot of anxiety before going into this escape room. Reading the waiver alone was nerve-wracking. Despite all of the worry, it turned out to be one of my favorite experiences! Playthrough was unique and fun, and following and participating in the story was really memorable. It's probably not for the faint of heart, but it's a great game if you can muster up the courage!

Every other escape room I will do will pale in comparison to this one! It sort of combines an escape room with multiple rooms with an experience like living in a horror movie. My friends and I couldn’t stop talking about how awesome it was. We definitely want to check out all their other rooms but unfortunately don’t live in LA

This is not my favorite type of experience, but it's exactly as advertised. There are very few puzzles, but if you like scary experiences, then bring all your friends and check this out!

Be ready to move. This room is not for the faint of heart. And will be an experience you won't forget. Zach and Rene were both great hosts and did not hold back on us. They made sure that we felt immersed. To make the most of this, play along and don't hold back on them either. It makes it that much better and worth your money. It is a high price point, but you won't get this kind of fright fest that often. I would say this is a 75-25 immersive experience vs. puzzle.

So…I have to admit this is the only time I’ve legit I’ve EVER had a bit of anxiety before a room. It’s talked about as one of the scariest rooms out there. A bit surprising for me as I love all things horror and scare factors. I can honestly say I had a BLAST in this room!! First off, go into it with real expectations. It’s more thriller theater experience than escape room. Our group agreed it was about 75% experience and 25% puzzles. Still absolutely worth doing! It is QUITE immersive and our GMs Zach and Renee were amazingly fantastic! I couldn’t believe the job they did and I’ve worked in the TV/film industry! I would recommend a larger group for this. We had 7 and it was perfect but 5-8 is a good range. If you have any kind of mobility issues or problems with crawling FAST (and dropping to crawl and getting back up-thinking military exercises in some cases) this is NOT the room for you. There were times where we could legit claim cardio workouts and were sweating. You wear jumpsuits and knee pads and they are SOOOO appreciated. But it gets hot. The puzzles aren’t super hard but let’s just say the theater side of things can interfere with your brain focusing on the puzzle side of things. 😂 All in all….I would HIGHLY recommend this room to anyone physically able and not so scared they can’t have live actors touch you. It checks ALL the boxes- unique, immersive, different endgame, set design, overall experience!

Project Minotaur is 75% immersive theater and 25% escape room. If you go in with these expectations, you’ll have a great time. I had a group of 7 when we visited and the maximum number of folks that are allowed in the escape room is 8. I’m a big scaredy cat so this number of people actually helped me stay clear of mind to do the puzzles. Walking in, they share with us a couple of rules. The first is that if you need to tap out because you’re not having fun anymore, someone can come in and pull you out of the maze but they won’t be able to put you back in. The second rule is that if the Minotaur catches you, you are out of the game. The first rule is more strict than the second one 😉 The puzzles themselves are not that hard per say. Make sure you keep track of your items. A couple of times, my group would get somewhere and we would realize that we need to go back to get what we need. That ate up some time. They do provide you with a bag but we didn’t see it ahead of time because it’s so dark in there. Overall, for the steep cost of $110, I think the game masters gave us our full monies worth but the escape room is better priced at $80 - $90 in my opinion. There were many opportunities for my team to be brave and to put themselves in scary situations in order to get a clue or retrieve an item of value. They do provide knee pads and jumpsuits and I’m so glad they did. Otherwise, I may have gotten bruises the next morning. Highly recommend for the thrill! Our game masters were Zach and Renee and if I wasn’t so terrified, I think we could have breezed through this room. The 100 minutes is more guidance and I think most people get out earlier.

We did Project Minotaur. This room is soooo scary. It was a lot of fun. It is definitely much different than other escape rooms. The actors are insane, the customer service is fantastic and the room and the props are amazing. I highly recommend it. It was truly a blast!
