178 escape rooms
After playing most of the Escape Hunt International games around the Gold Coast/Brisbane region, ‘Our Finest Hour’ stands out as my favourite Escape Hunt room to date. The set design is their most immersive space I’ve seen so far, and the puzzles were varied and enjoyable. It’s an experience that does deliver a small narrative with one or two plot advancements as the room unfolds. Most of the puzzles are on the easier side, with one that would benefit from instruction and cluing in the room so that a hint isn’t required.
Gameplay and puzzles flowed well, only one puzzle needed cluing so players would know what to do.
This would be one of Escape Hunt’s best set designs. The puzzles fit the theme and add to the visual aesthetic.
Staff were kind and professional.
