A fun and immersive escape room with a variety of creative puzzles. Our game was a little soured by a grumpy GM, but overall, it's worth a visit.
GM already had a sour mood on check-in. He was overzealous in giving us hints, which felt like he just wanted to go home since we were the last game of the night. We asked him not to give us unwanted hints, and he sat in the corner just watching us. I'm not a big fan of this company's policy to have the GM sit in the games with us.
Particularly interesting or different
Yes
The reason why I gave a thumbs down was because the plot was confusing after the first act. Once we reach Atlantis, I'm not entirely sure what we are doing there.
There is a lot of puzzles, making it great for larger groups.
A sound based puzzle was broken, so it required fidgeting to get it to work correctly.
The GM acts as an actor who sits inside the room with you. It is awkward.
