33 escape rooms
Overall great experience. Family friendly room, with familiar types of puzzles but still a good level of challenging for more experienced escapers. Not scary despite the theme concept.
Fun and with a logical flow, but nothing groundbreaking in terms of design.
Average build, and by no means as flashy as many that are around these days, but it did the job. The owner told us that the rooms will be moving to new premises in the coming months and will probably be much more professionally built in the new iteration.
Myra (Mira?) was delightful! She told us she’d recently taken over the ownership of the rooms, and whilst she had a much more laid back style than many GMs we’ve encountered, she was so passionate. Her clueing style was excellent and non invasive or disruptive.
No
No real story elements or immersion, but the overall impression of being trapped in a fairground by a creepy clown.
Medium
We are experienced enough to have not found it too challenging. None of the puzzles require complex calculations or decoding.
Mechanical
1st Generation style room with no high tech elements. Effective use of blacklight.
3
The early puzzles will allow large groups to divide and conquer somewhat, but as things progresses, larger groups may find some players standing around with little to do.
Not scary
Has an “abandoned carnival” concept but this isn’t really reflected in the themery, so it doesn’t come across as scary or spooky.
10
Theme was implied to be sinister, but there were no scary elements. The first room is very dark but no other moments seem unsuitable for children. Puzzles are quite accessible to children, and some elements of search-and-find will give younger players something to do.

Booking email gave clear instructions and google maps did take us to the correct place, but the place is set back from the street and if you haven’t read the instructions in the email, you may be unsure about how to find them up a little alleyway.
