Definitely not well done for a “linear” room. The room was still decent and fun. But many details did not follow well.

The story is set back in time. It’s the late 70s-early 80s, the peak of the Cold War between the United States of America and the Soviet Union. Tension is rising, and both armies are on high alert. The biggest spy of this time is a double agent who secretly works for both sides. Someone has infiltrated his bunker and initiated the nuclear warhead launch sequence. A special ops team has been dispatched to abort the launch at any cost. You are the worlds last hope.

Overall the room is not very smooth. Someone else mentioned clunky and i think that is the perfect word for this room. Some clues did not match well and they reused color codes for things making it a bit unnecessarily confusing. The game master was very nice however.

Escaped this room with 3 people! We had a great time and there was a nice flow to this room. Some of the clues were right in front of our faces without us realizing it, but once we realized it, we were like omg duh.

This escape was a bit straightforward and we had a reasonable time but to describe it in a word, clunky. The game flow didn’t work that well especially with 7 people. There were times where there was not much to do. The puzzles were somewhat basic and there were not really any wow or aha moments. Mostly just a grind through some basic puzzles. My recommendation for this room would be to do it around the 3-4 player count for a better experience.
Game flow was clunky in my opinion between the puzzles. There were times where there was not much to do. Something generally felt a tad off.
Its a bunker :)

This was a lot more fun than we expected! It's a cozy space (as one would expect being a bunker) and we finished it comfortably with 2 of us, so I think 2-3 is a great number for this, 4 max. Points for the sound effects, which I think always adds to the experience. It might be an older tech with mechanical puzzles, but we thought that added to its charm, especially the puzzles requiring coordinated teamwork since there were two of us. Thanks Macy for being a cool GM for us!

Almost purely mechanical room with some tech integrated. Decently difficult puzzles, kinda surprising. May possibly be that it felt like a few connections were slightly difficult to make, so possibly continuity. Puzzles are linear so we definitely got lost a few times. Overall a solid room though, enough of an entertainment to be worthwhile

Interesting mechanism to bring around with you to interact with the puzzles. But I wish it had a better feedback system to let you know if it's working or not. There was one puzzle that didn't make sense and we just kind of had to accept the answer, so we can move onto the rest of the room. Would suggest 3-4.

Niall was super helpful with the hints but it was definitely a bit of a difficult room. If you like the theme, it's definitely fun but if like maps and stuff aren't your jam, I'd recommend trying their other rooms

Unless you enjoy geography and math, this may not be your favorite room. The room design and props are very basic. Not horrible, just wasn’t one of our favorites.
I feel like the set is very basic. It has plenty of props that you can wear, but aside from items that you need for actual puzzles there’s not much extra. The first room just looks like a basic office with some military gear. The second room just looks boring with some basic tables with numbers. There really isn’t much to look at. There’s also one big prop you need from beginning to end, but it doesn’t light up or make any sounds that lets you know that it’s working.

The storyline was just okay. This game definitely doesn’t feel super immersive. It’s hard to forget that you’re just in any other room with this game and that you can just walk out the door. Feels more like playing pretend rather than immersive.
Medium
I’m going to say medium because most puzzles plate easy to figure out. There’s one puzzle where you need to have communication. But there are two puzzles in particular where you need to be good at and enjoy some math. There’s also some map reading. So do with this what you may. If you’re not good at math, communicating or geography, I can see this being a difficult room.
Mechanical
There is nothing high tech about this game at all. Nothing impressive.

This is an escape room theme that has been done over and over again, not necessarily in a good way. The flow is mostly linear, with one part where two teams could tackle two different puzzles. There are still some fun puzzles sprinkled in where communication is necessary, and those are always a favorite for us, but the overall room feels dated and old. I haven’t done all of the escape rooms yet at Wild Goose but this one is probably the first one that should be reimagined to a different experience. Our game master was as helpful as she could be, but her hints could have taken our previous conversations into context. Overall, still a good time but I would defer to the other rooms at this location.
