Dragon Tower

unfortunately the absolute worst escape room i’ve ever done. there was apparently a storyline to the game that never was explained or made sense as to how it fit in with everything else. quite literally had to be spoon-fed the last third of the game because every puzzle was so convoluted and non sequitur. I have done many other expert level escape rooms and this one is only considered “expert” because it made absolutely NO sense and there was no logic to any of the puzzles. a super bummer because the potential and vibe of the room looked super cool, but gameplay just did not live up. what a let down

The logic jumps between the clues and puzzles were sometimes so illogical that I find myself STILL trying to understand the intended pathways of completion. I’d argue this room is near impossible to get out without clues, which just feels stacked against the players in a not fun way. My group found itself overloaded with poorly explained information that led us to more poorly explained information. Every person in our group is a veteran escapee and we all left scratching our heads. Not in a “I think I see where we went wrong” kind of way, but in a “Does this room even make sense to the person that created it?” Kind of way. Would not recommend for beginners, experts or anyone in between.

Extremely difficult. Impossible without hints. Like literally impossible. Puzzles are often unintuitive. I can’t truly say it was bad—but the quality was low, and I dislike rooms where hints are absolutely necessary.

This escape room was a great room, but also very challenging! I would rate this room as a skill level: Hard, in order to complete this escape room, because these puzzles are very complex and requires you to remember certain details and think abstractly. I would definitely recommend at least 6 players because you are split into individual rooms, have to escape yours first, and then join each other in the main room. Dragon Tower is high tech and mechanical, and you utilize a lot of items in some way or form. I would recommend this escape room for large groups that are skilled and confident. We were not able to escape sadly, but it isn’t impossible with the right team and skills!

Definitely need at least 5 bodies for this as you’re split into 5 rooms and you need to help each other to get out. Some of the clues were direct and mid way, it starts getting difficulty because the clues don’t line up to lead you to the right puzzle. Some of the puzzles definitely require some thinking, bit of a riddle that doesn’t exactly line up.

A game for more experienced players (or >= 6 ppl if the group is not experienced), you can enjoy both personal puzzles and collaborative puzzle!

Room required stronger communication than anticipated. The puzzles can be difficult, but not impossible.
