Fun, simple room. We made it ever so slightly harder by only allowing communication using a single word.

Cute but might be a little simplistic for experienced players. Puzzles didn't require any puzzling (just inputting information you find around the room). I do wish we had been offered the more difficult version I'm just now reading about (non-verbal communication - that could've added to the experience!) A few set pieces seem to need a repair but no puzzles were broken! A certain hole on the wall seemed like it was a remnant of an old puzzle which left us wishing there was just a little more, or that a small 4 legged friends might visit us.

Are you new to escape rooms? Do you have child(ren) with you? If you answered yes to either of these, you will love this game. It is simple, but not patronizing, and a fun romp. If you are an experienced escape room enthusiast, you will find this room entirely too simple. However, if you try the room with the stipulation that nobody can speak (which we did), the difficulty level ramps back up and you'll find it a worthwhile go.

For experienced escape room players, Bernie Block is likely to be too easy, but the game would be a terrific introduction to escape rooms for children. The story is simple, the set is cute (although a little worn), and the puzzles aren’t too challenging. The game has no stairs or other physical challenges, and there is a place to sit down. Final grade. B

We were offered the challenge of not verbally communicating while playing. My teammates thoroughly enjoyed the challenge. I thought the theme was adorable & the puzzles were fitting. This is a good introduction to escape games.

It was fine, cute, but lacked in both puzzle complexity and set design compared to all other rooms at this location. The host afterwards told us they sometimes offer a “difficult mode” where none of the players can verbally communicate. Wish we could redo the room with that restriction, would have made for a real interesting challenge, so maybe ask about it!

fun room but childish and could be boring at times

Fun game that’s great for kids! Puzzles were straight forward and fun to solve.

This room was really fun, and the set was super neat. The room has begun showing its age just a little, but it’s still a fascinating experience. This is a great starter room at Escaparium, and it was very well done. Lots of fun musical cues and some neat puzzles that make you feel like you’re in the Lego World. Very unique!

This was the perfect room to start off with at Escaparium Laval! It was a super cute room with fun decoration. It would be great for kids and those who are newer to escape rooms!
