Η Έπαυλη Lockwood [The Lockwood Manor]

Game 7 of 17 of our Athens tour - A decent, if old, story beat in the town of Lockhill. The game is good, but heavily worn down over time. Some renovations would make this game feel much more. In particular, one crawlspace is VERY uncomfortable to navigate. That said, the game is fun, short, and a good warm up for the craziness that is the rest of Lockhill.

Great room, great opening to the Lockhill story. The room was old but was very immersive and interesting to follow.

Overall a brilliant experience. Very immersive, even with finding the place and when the host answered the door. The room and props were very captivating. The puzzles were straightforward but fun never the less. It was very spooky. Would definitely revisit to do the other rooms.

Didn't like it, the riddles didn't make sense to me, there were so many locks that you didn't even need, there was supposed to be something in the room that didn't happen. It just seems ignored

I really enjoyed this, some good fun linear puzzles coupled with a creepy vibe, realistically, Sanatorium is the best of the rooms currently at the venue but I think this is still worth your valuable time as it tells a compelling story.  As with the rest of Lockhill the immersion and theming are excellend throughout.

Fairly standard linear puzzle room. Good theming, logical puzzles, and connects to an overall story between all the rooms which definitely sets it apart.

If you’re not a fan of horror films and being on edge, this room is probably not the game for you (one of us in this team enjoys this more than the other). Despite the fact there were times in this room where we were quite literally hiding, we had an amazing time playing this game. It was probably the combination of being terrified of what was lying around the corner one minute, and then laughing because one of us had jumped at something in the room. It was certainly a unique experience and has undoubtedly set the bar high for any future horror themed rooms we might play. There is a lot to do in Athens both in the day and at night and an escape room might not be high on everyone’s list, but we are very glad we took the time out to play one of these games.
