June 2022 Update
Hello Morty Community!
It’s been a hot minute since our last update, so we wanted to share some exciting updates, improvements, and features in Morty!
Database Improvements
There is much to celebrate on the data side of Morty! Over the last month, we reached a milestone of over 20,000 games. This is an incredible feat. On top of that, our players have now tracked over 85,000 experiences in the app. 🤯
Many of the new games added are in new countries. We’re getting a high number of international submissions, and we’ve begun to expand our reach. You can now track games in 8 different countries, and we are working on doubling that number in the near future!

New features
Badges
We love escape rooms for many reasons, and we know the community is the same way. Some of us love the puzzles and game design, some of us love the environment and themes, and some of us just like to escape from reality for an hour! If you were part of the beta version of Morty, you know already that badges have been on our ‘to release’ features for quite some time — and now is that time! You can now start earning badges in Morty for adding games, making suggested edits, inviting other users, writing reviews, and more! You can check out some of our awesome designs and start earning today!
Community Rating
Ratings are one way that our community shares feedback about games they are playing, and so we are always looking for ways to perfect the way user ratings can help others find the best rooms! Lately, we’ve made some changes on the backend that helps weigh scores in more accurate ways for users!
