Tragedy befalls the realm. King Bedivere has been slaughtered by The Wolf Runner in a jealous rage, and, instead of healing and protecting, the royal sword’s magic is being manipulated to lay waste to everything around you. There is a dark evil in this castle. The stone walls whisper of devastation and agony. You could run and hope to make it out alive – or you could put an end to the madness. If not for you, the last of the Royal Guard, then who will save the land?

98 escape rooms
Having played my share of medieval rooms this one sits towards the mid-high end of them, it was a really clever experience that utilised the space well and gave the players plenty to do. A couple of tricky puzzles at the start (forewarned by the Gamemaster) had us a little bit worried but the rest of the game is pretty intuitive and flows nicely. Nothing spectacular in terms of set design or polish but it did have a classic escape room feel that didn’t disappoint.
