Wow! Incredible and unique experience. Not an escape room but more like a treasure hunt around the houses and property. Get ready for a gentle hike through the desert! We thought it would be all indoors and it was not so plan your schedule accordingly

Wild Heart Ranch is a really special stay. The house is designed immaculately, and the narrative of the Hart family is the perfect level of engaging. From the moment you walk in, it's so clear of the intentionality behind the entire experience. As an immersive producer, I've been wanting to go for quite some time and I went to celebrate my 40th birthday, and I can't imagine a more wonderful experience. Such a stand-out. Do not hesitate to book, particularly if you've never made it to Joshua Tree/29 Palms. Let this be the thing that brings you out; if that was all that was there, it would be worth it. The desert, and Wild Heart Ranch, are both clearly magical places. The puzzles were accessible for I suspect any level (particularly with a group of 4 or more *someone* is going to figure each step out) and I loved the surprises waiting for you throughout the experience. While there are some notes to consider doing the puzzle portion of the stay at night, we started just a bit before dusk and found it to be a perfect timeline for it all. Definitely worth the drive and I'll be on watch for anything Blake and Bea build in the future!

Have you ever wanted to extend your time & experience in a phenomenal escape room or to even get to live in one for a while? Thatβs what you get when you book the WHR β It's captivating and enchanting. We've stayed in over 40 airbnbs, played more than 300 escape rooms, and participated in countless other types of immersive entertainment β the WHR is among our favorites for all 3. From the moment you open the door, the immersion begins with the sounds of old-timey music filtering through the space. We can't say enough good things about WHR: the furnishings, the art, the lighting, the hot tub, the desert, the surprises β it all really is just delightful, comfortable, and inspiring. We stayed for 4 days, soaking in the hot tub at sunset and exploring the ranch's "mysteries" after dark. Blake is a wonderful host, super friendly, responsive and so creative having brought this amazing space to life.

I don't think there's many experiences out there quite like this. Not that it's an extreme "escape room" experience, but it's pretty much exactly what we were hoping for when we booked the place. Even without the mystery, the place is such charming and comfortable oasis in the middle of the desert. Given how affordable it was, we absolutely would stay here again. We had a group of 5 and there's was plenty of space for all of us. Tons of great amenities. In terms of the mystery of the ranch, we had a blast. Story totally fits the vibe and atmosphere - the house has some pretty subtle, but totally cool secrets to find. Definitely wait until evening/night to do it. Just too hot during the day. Pretty easy walk required, watch out for wildlife. It took us about 2 hours total for the whole thing. There was some technical difficulty that we couldn't quite figure our ways past, but it may have just been us. Lots of room for expansion - looking forward to what they'll do in the future.
