Temples of gods is one of the most popular themes I've done, but Stumptown's passion and attention to detail puts it above the rest. The set design feels straight out of an Indiana Jones movie and the puzzles hit the sweet spot of challenging and fun. This is a special room that deserves more attention.

The Tomb of the Mayan Gods was an escape room that had both good thematic puzzles and high tech mechanisms. There were a few puzzles that had really unique approaches that made me feel ecstatic when we were able to solve it; it as both challenging but fair and intuitive.

The game overall wasn’t the best, but also not the worst. Unfortunately 3 locks in the game weren’t closed properly during reset, which prompted our game master to come into the room, only to tell us we can continue anyway. The space also felt quite used, the otherwise nicely themed temple walls had holes and exposed wires which broke the immersion of the game, and music from the lobby could be heard in the whole game. There’s one especially satisfying riddle in the game, and the base for a decent game is definitely there, but with the issues we experienced during our visit, I wouldn’t recommend playing this room.
