Not my favorite room—some props were good, some were tacky. Played with a few first-timers who did enjoy it, but being a more experienced player myself, it was a bit disappointing. The clues were pretty scattered and had no indication of which lock the codes went to. There were quite a few props that ended up not being important and therefore threw us off.

Depends on when you go—Escondido at night may mean you have to park a few blocks away.

The set design was intriguing…in not a good way and you could tell it was a little low-budget in terms of the props. One particular puzzle had no previous clue to get there so we had to use a hint. The room also had a bunch of props that were red herrings so that’s what made it “hard”. The storyline was not easy to follow so that’s what made it hard too. I didn’t hate the actual puzzles you had to solve but I wish there was a clearer motive to the room and clear storyline with satisfaction.
