You spent nearly every school break in the 90s at your family’s cabin. When you weren't fishing, skiing, or raising your Tamagotchi, you and your cousins were playing Nintendo. After reading that a copy of your family's go-to Nintendo game just sold for nearly a Bitcoin, you realize the family's copy of the game should still be at the cabin. Unfortunately, your cousins realized the same thing too. Now it's a race to claim the cartridge! Will you get there first or will your efforts be as worthless as a Beanie Baby?

One of my all time favs! Recommend this puzzle to anyone who lived through the 90's. I have never left a room so happy, as I have with this one. I am obviously biased because I grew up in the 90's. Bias aside, this room includes loads of unique and intuitive puzzles that fit seamlessly together. There is absolutely no deviation from the theme and it is as lighthearted as one could hope to experience. Also, nothing in the room requires preexisting knowledge. If you are in search of a pick-me-up room that doesn't feel stressful(and bonus if you lived through the 90's) then you should book this room. I left feeling as light-hearted as one could hope to feel after leaving a race against the clock. Lol. Classic room, 10/10... and btw, all of the rooms at quicksand are awesome.

Hard. Def bring at least 3 people. Good design, very interactive and fun. Lots of thinking and maybe I overthought a lot of clues.

Really fun room. There's a ton of puzzles and almost all of them were unique and had I'd never seen before. Took about half the time to get to the second part of the room and I was filled with dread when I saw the second room having so many puzzles. The people I went with this time were pretty beginner and so I was essentially doing most of solving myself, which I can say is really hard in this room. There's unlimited hints, so at the end I just started continually asking for hints with 5 minutes left, and barely finished. The theme was a throwback though I had only interacted with some of the things in the room when I was really young. I'm not too cultured with 90s-00s music so my friends did help me there. The party before us accidentally took a item of the room, and the game masters were thinking about what to do very politely, but luckily the party brought the item back. However, the game masters accidentally forgot to lock the third to last puzzle so they had to come into the room to relock it, which broke the immersion a little, but they were super nice about it. Puzzles were primarily linear until second half of the room where it branches for a bit but is still primarily linear. Would highly recommend!

Cute room. if you like 90s nostalgia, this room is for you. Puzzles were on theme. 1st and 2nd Gen tech.

Some bits are well thought-out and others are left as blank white drywall. Lots of look-and-find for objects, a few clever details.

Absolutely loved the 90s feel and atmosphere of this one. The props and puzzles were very clever, and solving them felt satisfying. Our game master, Charlie, was amiable, engaging, and helpful.

Really fun puzzles, good variety and they all made sense! Fun little surprises and great throwbacks even 2000s kids will love!
