There is a lot to love in this game. But also a lot to dislike. The opening few minutes were fantastic. So immersive! After that, the game got very frustrating. There were two major tech fails (one of which was resolved only after we had been doing the right thing for more than 10 minutes, then the GM had to come into the room to fix the glitch - the other triggered a secret door sooner than it should have been possible. Again it was resolved by the GM coming into the room to reset what we had accidentally triggered) Past that, most of the puzzles involved searching for things printed in tiny text in a too-dark room. Way too much “search” and not enough “solve”. By the end we were so frustrated that we didn’t bother to finish the final puzzle (more text searching) we just wanted to get out of the room.

Oh nooo! Joe, our entire team is so disappointed and upset to hear this. We’ve never gotten a dislike before so it truly saddens us. We strive to create extremely immersive and thrilling adventures. The immersion & “night time” feel of the theme park is what led us to design such a dark set. However, we have already reprinted many of our text items since your gameplay in early November 2022 to make them more legible in the dim lighting. We additionally added more spot lights where necessary. I also spoke with your GM regarding the two issues you addressed and was surprised to learn about them as they have honestly rarely happened before. We will do our best to prevent those from occurring again and we are happy to say, we have resolved one of the issues already. I do want to thank you for the feedback. These notes will indeed be take into consideration. We are going to take a couple of the puzzles back to our design team to try and incorporate more “solve” and less search elements into more aspects of the experience. This game, however, is designed for 3-9 people which could have caused some of the frustration you had as you guys had to do all the work with just two people. With that, you and your partner were a blast to have. We’re so sorry you disliked this game so much even thought you felt the beginning was so memorable. Please continue to use the flashlight provided whenever you need it! We hope to see you again soon in the future for more adventure.

Thank you for a great time! The set design was novel, entertaining, and a bit physical, which we enjoyed. The game-master was enthusiastic about his job, available to help, and comical. We completed the both games with a party of 4.

Like their other game, this one is definitely in the top! Fun theme with a well designed set- there’s definitely more than one element that we’ve never seen before! Again, can’t say enough good things about Escape Warehouse! Owner and our GM were AMAZING! Our only complaint is that there’s only 2 games…they left us craving more!! This escape room alone is 1000% worth a trip to Louisiana!!

The game is okay! Starts off really strong with an amazing moment but gradually loses steam. Heard they are redoing some of this game which is promising.

Our team had a great time in Mystery Gates. The Escape Warehouse has created an impressive and lengthy set for you to explore which makes you feel like you really are in a theme park. The game is light on brain puzzles, but heavy on tactile physical puzzles. Some parts are physical, but not all team members will need to participate in the physical sections. They continue to use their space really effectively and can’t wait to see what they do next. This room is great for families or anyone that loves theme parks.
Yes
From the start you realize you are in for an escape room with great physical props. Light on brain puzzles and more on physical puzzles.
Not necessarily story based, more of an exploration through Mystery Gates.

We did it with 2 and escaped with enough time. I’d say 4 is probably the perfect amount, but it can accommodate up to 8.

You will most likely need to split your party in some sections due to the amount of things that need to be accomplished. Some of them are more physically active.
Yes
It’s in a building by itself.
Easy
They have their own lot out in front for easy parking.
