The owner of this escape room is really nice and passionate about what he does. This room feels a bit dated and lacks the element of surprise. There are better prison themed rooms in the triangle but I did like the puzzles that were in the room. The puzzles were challenging however one of them was more challenging than it needed to be. The cue for when you have escaped is very subtle and our team missed it even though the GM tried to explain it to us 3 times. He said we would hear two loud noises and all we heard was a small click so we couldn’t hear it. A pet peeve of mine is rooms where there is one GM running multiple rooms at once where they are unable to pay attention to where you are in the game. When we did ask for a hint, they gave us hints for the two previous puzzles that we had already completed before finally figuring out where we were in the game. This always feels like it breaks the immersion for me. All of this said, I still enjoyed the room and would recommend it. The Mysterious Room has a better surprise element and wow factor.

Wow…it’s almost as if they didn’t finish building this room. Not good. Not fun.
