Shaky Grounds Cafe

The bus escape room was 10/10. A true red heart. I wish they separated these because the fallout escape room was one of the worst I've ever done. Three traps and your escape room ends. My partner and I didn't know that the first time, so did it again and were so careful and still failed the second time for a reason that I won't spoil. It honestly ruined the rest of my park experience. I could not imagine spending money on these tickets, I would not recommend anyone do the fallout room.

Really unique room, loved learning about disaster preparedness! Excellent game and set design. Tyler was super nice and knowledgeable! Highly recommend to both enthusiasts and newbies just looking for a fun time!

This was a super cool and fun room. It was part of a company sales award that I run, so it was extremely convenient that Tyler could come out with his trailer and run the game in our own parking lot. The premise of the room is a lot of fun, and some of the puzzles were unlike any I'd experienced before.

Tyler was a super helpful and enthusiastic game master. The clues were the perfect mix of challenging but achievable, and the message behind the game is super encouraging. I would highly recommend this game!

This room is fantastic! Highly recommend doing this room. Great combination of real world advice combined with a great game! Tyler is a fantastic host! Do this room!

This one is special. Absolutely loved this room! Super creative puzzle play and a real-world concept that isnt cheesy. We had a blast! I highly recommend. If you've done a good amount of escape rooms, i would give a small piece of advice, -dont be afraid to try something! I dont want to give spoilers, so just be aware that there are puzzles that are not what you find in the average escape room. (Extremely cool lol) definitely think outside the typical escape room box 😉 its an impressive room! Don't skip out on this room just because its not in a brick & mortar. We were more impressed by this room than most of what we played in CA. Big thanks to Tyler for being a great host. He is a cool guy and really kind! I'd be more than happy to do any room this dude is involved with. Creativity was outstanding and raises above majority of escapes out there.

We FINALLY got to play after wanting to try it all summer, but the timing never worked out. It was SO worth the wait. I was floored by the use of the space and the ingenuity of the design. Every puzzle was satisfying and so much fun. I had a hard time believing a mobile game can be this immersive, but the hype is so real.

We were excited when the algorithm let us know Shaky Grounds was coming to Seattle. We love clever concepts and GM (and game designer) Tyler's combination of entertainment and education was just that. Fantastic use of the space, it felt bigger inside the trailer than outside appearances would suggest. Loved the survival preparedness goal rather than a traditional escape too. Lots of parallel puzzles, plenty of tech... not particularly difficult, but a bunch of fun for our family of 4. Looking forward to what new ideas Tyler comes up with next!

Absolutely blown away by this (trailer) escape room & is definitely a MUST DO if you get the opportunity! Tyler is not only an amazing host & creator, but they clearly have the passion and brains for this art. The room, which utilizes the trailer space VERY well, provides a nice balance between the educational component (emergency preparedness for the PNW) without compromising on the story/goal at hand (coffee). Moreover, there is a wide variety of fun and unique puzzles that will catch some puzzle enthusiasts, like us, off guard in a pleasant way (no spoilers, check it out yourself)! Overall, I cannot recommend this room enough for newbies to more experienced escapists :)!

So fun! I was initially hesitant, thinking that an emergency preparedness themed room would be boring, but it was a blast! Such a unique theme, and very well used spaces. Some of the puzzles we were able to “break,” but that didn’t detract from the overall experience. The owner and operator Tyler is lovely and passionate. Highly recommend.
