Time Siege - The Battle of Yorktown

I really wanted to love this game. Way too much reading. Should be a 70 or 75 minute game.

We like time travel games. Since we’ve played some really good ones, our bar may be set a bit high. The set up of this one was clever and the theme was perfect for historical Williamsburg. We would have liked to see better set design and a bit more immersion, but we did enjoy it overall.

I loved the time traveling concept which game with a unique game idea! One of the concepts took some getting used to but then was super fun to figure out each time. I’m not usually someone who enjoys history themed rooms, but this one I had fun playing! The set design could use a little TLC in some areas but the game play was not affected by it.

This room is very history based, so not my favorite concept. A history buff would love it though! Overall, it’s well done and interesting even if you don’t love history.

This was a great concept. You are looking for lost artifacts across timelines. Good scenery and it really felt genuine. The time concept was well done. We seemed to jump clues somehow at times and then would get hung up on small details that were later revealed as instructions. Not sure how we bumped ahead. Maybe there was something to the time travel thing!

I loved the room! It was so unique to the area that I couldn’t pass up on it! The storyline and time traveling was clever and was something I’ve never really seen before! I will however say that there are a few shortfalls of this room that could easily make this blow other rooms out of the water. I feel the set could be updated with a tad bit more theming quality. I also feel music should be added because it feels weird being on a big mission with 0 music to pump you up. Otherwise, incredible execution, with a great outcome that could be taken to the next level.

I had a great time! The theme is very unique, as it pertains to Williamsburg, which I loved! The puzzles were pretty cool to go along with that! I did however feel like there was potential in the set, especially later on in the game. Some set pieces were just there for decoration, but wasn’t exactly sure as to why there were there. Also I feel like adding different music within the ship/areas time traveled would elevate the same one step further! Apart from that, this is a cool room that is different from your common escape room theme! Definitely check it out if you love history / time travel!
