We are not sure exactly when it happened. However, back sometime in the 1950’s or 60’s, the bombs went off. Kaboom! After the apocalypse, fear and chaos ruled the wasteland. Some left behind formed the Joint Allied Resource Corps in an effort to bring hope and unity to others. Scattered survivors far and wide quickly became dependent upon their messages of peace echoing across the airwaves. It seemed as though everything was finally being put back together. When suddenly and without warning, all communications ceased. You are an elite group of survivors sent out to the nearest J.A.R. Corps facility to see if you can figure out what happened. Are you ready, team?

The whole thing seemed not legit. There was no waiver to sign. The puzzles were unclear or left to broad interpretation which the owner came in to solve more than once. It all seemed kinda just thrown together. Not to mention the owner was talking to us way too much. We started the room 20 mins late and then he kept talking to us for 15 mins after . Do not recommend

When my husband and I did this room, the owner came in no less than 5 times to help us with the puzzles and props -_- Literally did the puzzles for us. It was not a fun time. The owner was nice but that’s not what we paid for or wanted to happen. It’s possible he has made significant improvements since our visit. Hopefully.

This is a small business owned by the GM and his wife. He is super interactive and engaging, despite small mechanical mishaps he is quick to assist and encouraging. The room itself lets you slip away into a different world. A good balance between locks and puzzles, not too complicated as long as you don't over think it. GM is a super cool guy, i highly recommend JAR escapes! This room keeps you immerse into its never ending storyline!

My wife and I have done a quite few escapes rooms in the past year and just found this one. It did not disappoint. The GM/owner makes this experience one of the best we’ve ever done. The puzzles and story are good but it’s the GM that makes this a great escape room. Can’t recommend this one enough!

If you are in the Sacramento area, this location is a gem. Highly recommend to come and try this room out. We were a team of 2 and the experience was amazing. Could be great with large groups as well. Definitely challenging but in the best way possible. Not high tech, more of a lock and key experience but the puzzles were all unique. The owner is fantastic and really understands what is needed to make a room great even without all the bells and whistles. Will definitely be returning when the room is redone.

Really fun!! My group and I had a range of players (some of us had only done one or two escape rooms, some of us are up to 20 or so) and we all had a good time. The GM was SUPER enthusiastic, which is always nice! The puzzles were mostly lock-based, but I really enjoyed the clues and gameplay. Individual puzzles were simple, but the room was still pretty challenging. Definitely worth a visit!
