Zoe: Reborn was such a fun experience, and our group honestly loved this room. We us walked out a little banged up and one definitely a little shaken, but it was completely worth it. We played as a group of three and chose to summon the whole family, and that choice immediately made the room feel more intense and immersive. The set, the atmosphere, and the overall theme were all on point, and the actors did an amazing job. Everyone stayed fully in character the entire time, and it really added to the fear factor in a way that made the room exciting without taking away from how fun it was. Something we really enjoyed was how much the room pushed everyone to participate. Before we went in, we already agreed there wasn’t going to be a “hero,” so each of us had to volunteer at different points, and that meant all of us ended up alone with the family at some point. Those moments were definitely some of the most memorable parts of the experience. Having played Krampus during the holiday season, we were able to notice the changes to the room and set to ensure fans had a different experience. The acting was one of the biggest highlights for us. The actors were spot on, and the way they stayed committed made the room feel so much more real. Our group also likes to interact back and lean into the improv side of scary rooms, so we were laughing a lot while still getting plenty of scares. It was a really good balance, and it made the whole experience feel even more fun for us. We did play on extreme mode, and it’s good to know that if you summon the whole family, it automatically puts you into that mode. It was definitely intense, but we enjoyed the challenge and would do it again. Another thing that made the experience even better was the staff. After the room, we got to talk with a lot of the team and even one of the owners, and they were genuinely cool people. They shared more about the different versions they run throughout the year and how they keep the room fresh, which made us even more excited to come back. Zoe: Reborn is the kind of room you could replay, especially knowing the experience can change depending on the version you get. Overall, we had an amazing time and would absolutely recommend it, especially if you’ve played Krampus but haven’t tried Zoe: Reborn yet. It feels different enough to be its own experience, while still delivering the same level of immersion, acting, and atmosphere.
