All right, scouts! Are you ready for your big adventure in the woods? Don’t mind the rumours about the forest being haunted by spirits, we’re pretty sure it’s all nonsense and poor old Sam will find their way back one day soon. After all, time can pass very quickly in there; morning to noon to evening to night and before you realise, it’s morning again! Stay safe in the woods, scouts – it’s everyone’s responsibility!

We were floored by the way Next Level Escape delivered a nonlinear room in ‘Forest of Echoes’. The game experience of choosing your own path with Next Level’s engaging GM interactions took this escape room to a great level. Pixel was a great GM and she took the time to discuss the room and its puzzles afterwards. It was awesome!

Our GM Croz really made this a unique escape room experience.

This game was gorgeous! It is close to personally my perfect game ❤️ An excellent blend between theatre, story and puzzles. If you like more story driven games, this one is for you. Play this for the story, and just enjoy the journey.

Kinda easy kinda boring. Mostly story based. Was a section where we listened to talking for like 5 mins Puzzles were not hard, had to "help" 6 people and their stories We did most of them in tandem so was kinda boring you only got to experience half the room, so might have been better with a smaller group But good none the less

This Escape Room was absolutely incredible! Pros: non-linear (can complete puzzles in any order), passionate GM who stayed in character, variety of puzzles despite the room itself changing very little (asides from lighting), engaging story and mystical atmosphere. Cons: literally the only con is that the final farewell sequence was slightly prolonged. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. One of the best escape rooms I have done so far.

One of the best games in Sydney. Forest of Echoes sets a new standard for puzzle design, there is a very clever game mechanic I have never seen before that adds that extra layer of fun and creativity, definitely one to impress the enthusiasts and for those who love puzzles. The set is beautiful and so immersive with both the sound and lighting design. Things are so cleverly concealed within the room that despite this being a "single room" (without saying too much), it still manage to surprise players. The story is also so wholesome and is told so cleverly. Next Level Escape are known for their GM interaction that has become a staple for their games and Forest of Echoes has really incorporated their GMs character so well. The story is not just a told once and set for the room, it's one that's so effortlessly incorporated within each puzzle that develops and strengthens as you venture deeper into the room. Each puzzle adds more context or a new perspective to a very moving narrative, you'll find that the puzzles themselves tell their own small stories too!! Next Level Escape have outdone themselves with what I believe is their best room yet!
