Ink & Ashes

We loved this room! Puzzles were very logical and the theming was perfect. Definitely lots to do. We typically escape rooms with a lot of time to spare and we only had 8 minutes left on this one! Story flowed really well and didn't feel contrived to fit the room. Very immersive.

Fantastic room - really good mix of puzzles. Several very unique ones. Great ambiance. The story was pretty cool too. Very immersive experience over all. The tech works great, when something opens you can hear it and you know what you’ve done. Also some delightful surprises. One of the better rooms I’ve ever done! Reasonably hard - they had to add extra time for us. But I don’t think we were the most observant crew hahaha

I really loved this room. The story unfolds as you play, and the narration and scenic detail made me feel like I was living out a Nancy Drew book. This room is so beautifully designed and very well done overall. The puzzles were exciting, themed, and intentional, which I really appreciated. Know that this room is IMO very challenging, but it is also incredibly immersive and FUN. I loved the narration bits and the clean attention to detail. Super great job.

Absolutely loved this room. It was clean, well designed, and creative. It was just the right amount of challenging and I appreciated how quickly and nicely everything flowed. The storyline was very immersive and really fun. I loved it and would highly recommend.

Great room, felt like detectives, the staff is awesome and this room flows so well. There are some puzzles that the connections are super easy and then some that take a team effort to color in the picture ;)

Overall, this room was such a fun time. It was perfect for a bigger group since there was always something to do. Exodus Escape Rooms never disappoints.

Loved the game, the set and puzzles. Played with four players and had a great time!

I&A is a perfect example of narrative driven story line (THANK YOU for pausing the timer during “cutscenes”!) and using visual/lighting/audio/physical cues to direct attention and move the story forward. Except for a few, the majority of the puzzles aren’t unique, BUT the way the puzzles were crafted and how they play into the storyline truly create “wow” moments. A lot of attention and love went into this room. GO PLAY IT NOW!

Ink and Ashes does what great escape rooms do, direct the audience through clever lighting, sound cues, and atmospheric use of storytelling. It keeps the players at a great pace to gather us for the theatrical bits and open it up when doing puzzles. The story is straightforward but the game makes the fun in the process. Make sure to pay attention to the story so you can let the room shower you in your success!
