You have been unpacking for a week now as you continue to explore every nook and cranny in your new six-room house. You now understand why the locals were so weary of this house and always avoided it. There are however still some areas you have yet to fully search. One day as you were putting your groceries in the pantry for the first time, you notice a small crease in the wall. You put your hand up to the wall and realize it is actually an indentation. You grab your box cutter that you were just using and poke it right through the gaudy wallpaper that you wanted to replace anyway. You pull the blade across the wall. You hit a hard beam. You turn the blade downward and slice vertically to the floor. As you make the final cut through the wallpaper, the wall opens up and a doorway appears. Before you lies a small six-foot hallway with a door at the end of it. You walk six feet down the hallway to the door and grab the handle. It’s locked. You are glad because you’ve seen enough horror movies to know that you really didn’t want to know what was behind that door. With a sigh of relief, you turn around and walk back towards the kitchen. You take three steps forward, when an icy-cold wind blows right through you, taking the breath out of you. You stop in your tracks. You hear a loud creaking sound behind you. You turn around. The door is open. Again, you’ve seen enough horror movies to know that you shouldn’t so anywhere near that door. But, just as you – the Hardings – were called to this house, you are being called to this doorway. You physically can’t help it. You feel yourself being pulled to the doorway. You find yourself peering down into a dimly-lit basement. Again, you have seen enough horror movies to know that you don’t want to go down those stairs. But, yet again, you are physically pulled by some force down the stairs. The next thing you know you are standing on the cold concrete floor, staring up at the bright light emanating from the only way into and out of the basement. You feel the icy-cold wind again. The door slams shut and locks. The lights go out. You now find yourself trapped in the Seventh Room.

If you’re looking for a unique scare experience, this is the room for you. It’s scary, but not in the traditional sense. This room will challenge you with your own fears and at some points you are separated from your group entirely. This room changed the game of horror escape rooms.

We had an absolute blast in this room! It has easily taken one of my top spots in my favorite rooms ever! Certainly is the strongest room here at D2E by far. Playing with 6 people we all had a chance to do something whether it be one of the scarier portions or solving a puzzle. Everything that we did in this room felt very on theme and had a proper amount of complexity. If you are someone that likes the creepy stuff or doesn’t but is willing to “risk it for the biscuit” you will have a great time. Yes, this game is scary especially for the right people! But the team at D2E take great care of you and are ready to assist if needed. Overall an awesome experience with a great room that everyone (even if you get spooked easy) should give a good try!
At the start there is a lot to do and discover so don’t feel off if you take a lot of time there. Though after that portion everything flowed well for our team.
One of the best scenic rooms designed by D2E. Transitions are well done and it feels you are actually moving through a progressive story.
Our GM’s here have always been amazing and kind! Alexander is someone we have had the privilege to have as our game master and he did awesome letting us have our space and feeling comfortable in the room (apart from the general vibe of the room)
Yes
The gameplay forces you to do things in places that many would be very uncomfy with
The story will best make sense if you have played the rest of Tillman story through their other experiences. Though we were personally to fast to realize exactly what our mission was as we progressed we did get a lovely explanation from our GM about what we were doing :)
Medium
In truth this is a medium difficulty room that has a lot of quantity over difficulty. The spooky scary atmosphere can certainly make it more of a hard game depending on how reactive you are to spooks though so please be aware.
Mechanical
This has a good mix between mechanical and tech puzzles though it does lean more to locks and keys
5
We played with 6 and everyone had an good amount of parts to play in here. Team of 5 should still have the amount of people they need to get this room done with ease and space to move.
Scary
If you are the type of person to be easily scared this will get you good

The way that this game is scary definitely requires a level of maturity to get through it and it is best not played with children

In truth we did have a small mechanical issue but we managed to work around it by ourselves :)

An amazing room!! The employees really get into it when they’re telling you the story about the rooms and everyone was really nice! 10/10 would recommend as long as you don’t mind going out of your comfort zones scared.

super fun room - less jump scare, more general creepiness and putting yourself into scary situations to get clues. did it with 2 people and made it out with just a couple minutes to spare! one note - the room is not super accessible - be sure to have someone on your team that isn’t scared to climb or squeeze in tight spaces!
i thought it was fun and flowed well, but it was a really heavy first series of “finding things” in the beginning. almost felt like i had to organize all the clues because there was so much to keep track of. was worried about losing little pieces among all of the papers and boxes. but the clues and puzzles were great!
it was super immersive and a bit anxiety inducing. the rooms, despite being scary, were really beautiful and well done.
super welcoming staff. took phobias and fears seriously and set a safe word ahead of the game. there was an employee in training for our game and she did awesome! did well with creating the scary mood to start the game.

To be blunt, we hated this room, for very different reasons. Kids were scared so couldn’t contribute. Husband and I felt the puzzles were not well clued and just kind of random. GM came in 4 times to help with various issues we had which ruined immersion. If you’re going to have a puzzle with small pieces, don’t make the container hard to open so pieces go flying. Some of the things should have been able to be handled via the hint system so not sure why she came in. We had no plans to do this room but it was hyped by GMs at two other venues in Orlando so we did it. Really wish we hadn’t.
Maybe kind of novel but it did not flow well at all in our opinion

Very immersive room! It keeps you on your toes and is a nice balance of different puzzle types. I read in a previous review that 4 players is the optimal player count, and I definitely agree. We did it with 5 players and some portions are a little crammed. Still a wonderful experience. Absolutely recommend.

This is one of the best escape rooms I have ever played! Very interactive, unique and very scary. I highly recommend every escape room at this establishment.

Loved this room. From the beginning of the experience you are put right into the story with a great intro from your game master. Great scenic and puzzles throughout with one particular moment that is still on of my favorites of any room we have ever played. Not a typical “jump scare” scary but much more psychologically scary.

Great set design, great atmosphere, and some really cool moments. Claustrophobics beware, there are at least 2 people that need to be in some tight spaces. But otherwise, the fear was cultivated more through atmosphere than jump scares. One of the best games in Orlando, and D2E’s strongest room in our opinion. Definitely a ‘must play’ if you are in Orlando and like scary rooms
Fantastic (creepy) atmosphere. Best D2E room. Limited but very effective use of live actor
