You've been sent to capture the notorious pirate Blackbeard, but instead he's captured you! If you can escape the brig and sail to safety, you'll be rewarded with the pirate's booty - but watch out for Squawkers, Blackbeard's crusty parrot!

Fairly decent room and pretty easy puzzles. We had fun overall but nothing to write home about.

Nice that it worked well for a larger group with a mix of ages and escape room experience

Was really surprised by how much I liked this room! The first room had more traditional puzzles but the second room too it to a new interactive level that I liked a lot. we had a bit too many people, but we covered a ton of ground. The room isn't very linear so you can divide and conquer. Be aware that the room is on the darker side with lighting so if you have trouble in low light, avoid this room.

I did not like the way clues were at GM discretion, we struggled a couple times and got no help. If it was GM discretion you figure they would of helped us to stay on time, but did not

This has a very high puzzles per hour rate. Tons of little locks to decode. We were busy the whole time because it was just 2 of us. It was satisfying to get out but the final stage of the room wasnβt my favorite. It was not very intuitive and Iβd call it buggy.

Fun room with some interesting puzzles. Definitely not the best pirate room we've played but it's a decent room overall.

Only gave a thumbs up because we werenβt wowβd by the room, BUT there were a few multilayer puzzles we liked and it was a cute pirate room. Would definitely come back to play the other rooms. Yebewarned - you canβt ask for hints, they are given at the GMβs discretion, so you might be stuck for a bit if they donβt give you a hint. That was a tiny point of frustration for us. Still enjoyed the room though!

This was a pretty standard βpirate shipβ room. Unfortunately what seemed like one of the more fun parts at the end was broken.

This game was a challenge for me and my one friend due to it being non-linear. That being said it was the only non-linear game we ever completely split based on puzzles that worked for the way we each think and solve things. If one of us didnβt get the puzzle we were solving we switched, and it got us pretty far! Simply too much for a pair to accomplish alone though (which I happen to think is smart for a non-linear room)

Super fun room; my favorite set at EscapeWorks. Be warned; the parrot may frighten jumpy players.
