Heist 2.0

If you're into puzzles this is the room for you - a ton of puzzles, each one you solve getting you money. Definitely wanted to play again immediately. Would love to come back with notes and play it multiple times.

We had one night in Hamilton before our flight out and we decided to book an escape room at the last minute. It ended up being the best decision we made all trip. Heist ended up being one of our favorite rooms of all time. The premise of the room is a bit different from most rooms. You’re not trying to escape. Instead, you’re trying to solve as many puzzles as possible to get as much money as possible before time is up. And boy are there a lot of puzzles! This is perfect for a slightly larger group that enjoys dividing and conquering nonlinear rooms. We were the last group before they closed for the night and we had such a great time that the staff was kind enough to let us play for another hour after closing. We loved it so much that we talk about planning a trip back to New Zealand just to go back and play more of their rooms.

This is their replayable room - the aim is to Escape with as much money as possible in the time given. Your score is your loot total, not time. There are soooooo many puzzles in the room, it takes multiple plays to be able to get through them all which is so much fun! You’re allowed to take in your notes from previous plays, which we would recommend if you’re going back.

Loved this room & the different concept of it!! Escaped with $1.75 million, goal is $12.5!! Wow! But so cool. A room you have to keep going back to to finally heist all the money!! Highly recommend!
