A new neighbor moved into the abandoned house down the street. Rumor has it he works at the creepy carnival at the end of town. No one has met him yet, but people are saying there are strange sounds coming from deep inside the house. Maybe the sounds have something to do with all the pets that have gone missing ever since he moved in. It’s not a coincidence and you sense something bad is happening. Unfortunately, your pet is now one of those missing and you’re fearing the worst. You’re not quite sure what you’ll find, but you and your friends decide to go check out his house while he is at work. It may lead to nothing or it may lead you to saving your pet.

The room was a lot of fun! I think it balances puzzle amounts really well, insofar as having enough to feel like you get your money’s worth and still being able to escape. The puzzles in here were both fun and on theme, which is a major plus. My group enjoyed clowning around!

Uniquish idea for an escape room .

The room was a lot of fun. The puzzles were tricky, but well thought out. The acting was great! And our game master, Fox, was amazing!

We had a great time in this room and really enjoyed the challenge of it. We had a pretty experienced group of players and still needed a few hints in order to escape in time. Gino was our GM and he did a great job for us!

Neat game in a smaller space! All of Deceptive Games' games are 'scary' themed, so keep that in mind! This one has some scares, and a live actor too! It's not the scariest, but still a fun time!

This room was quite the experience, although the constant scare factor made it a bit much sometimes. Most of the puzzles fit the theme well, and the whole game was very immersive. I definitely emerged sweating and so happy to be away from that clown.

Another room that has no business being as good as it is. The set is way nicer than I expected, it has some novel and fun puzzles, and it rides a nice line of being spooky but not as intense as other live-actor rooms. Starts non-linear and lots to do. Highly recommend for spooky puzzle lovers.

This could be scary for some of you, especially if you don’t like clowns. And you’re probably thinking, “Hell No! I ain’t doing this!!” Honestly, it wasn’t bad. We were so into solving the puzzles we failed to notice the clown stalking us. Expect to get a few jump scares but nothing that would make you tap out. There were some fun nostalgic puzzles and a mix of mechanical and high tech ones too. The puzzles were pretty straight forward and there was a lot of momentum. Amity was our host/live actor and she took care of us. She also asked us how we preferred to receive assistance (ie, by request, nudges). IMO, I’d say this is a family-friendly scary room.
