Trapped
Escape room
IRL
Solid room. Interesting and varied puzzles, all felt very fair. Good for 4ish people. Standard fair for Trapped. I appreciated that most of the puzzles felt physically accessible to all players to engage in some way (ie there weren’t as many puzzles in small cramped areas that only one person could do) which isn’t always the case for Trapped.

Absolutely delightful room from start to finish. This location leans more into narrative rooms so that’ll have different mileage based on your tastes, but the props, story and puzzles all were cute and fun to complete. Perfect 2 player (maybe 3?) experience as it’s a smaller space, but it jam packs a lot of puzzles into the 70 minutes. There are also side puzzles that earned you extra hints which I thought was a fun idea (and added extra things to do if you finished early). Big fan. Will go again for any new rooms they open.

Overall I really liked what this room was going for, theming was super adorable and interesting. Puzzles ranged in difficulty but always felt fair. The puzzles were also interesting and connected to the story in really cool ways that tied together in the end. Huge fan of all the set and how much is jam packed into a small space. The narrative here was much more pronounced than Zodiac, where there is a really emotional story that I don’t think I was prepared for when I think of “let’s do a fun escape room”. So that would be my only caveat to this room, be prepared for some emotion, and if that’s not your thing Zodiac is a great room also!

Better than “Me” in terms of I actually understood the solutions to the puzzles at the end, and more felt difficult yet manageable. However still a lot of just guessing what might be the solution or too many leaps in logic that felt it could be clued in better. Also there needs to be a flashlight for each person. It’s a dark space and you’re only given 2 flashlights, it really ruins the experience for anyone who doesn’t have a flashlight.

I struggle to find positive things to say about this room. It’s clearly very worn down, most puzzles didn’t make sense (or had too many leaps in logic that were loosely hinted at) and props not opening properly. Even with the host explaining afterwards the solutions it still didn’t make much sense. I think the idea for the room is interesting at least!

This was an adorable room. The puzzles were on the easy side but interesting. The reason this got a heart is because we said “this is so cute” maybe like 10x in the room for both some of the props and the storyline. Big fan, an “easy” room executed really well imo. (I do agree some sort of bigger “finish” would have been really nice but that’s the only complaint I have)

Mixed on this room. The set was nice and there was a bunch of challenging yet rewarding puzzles. I liked that there was a mix of both linear and non-linear gameplay. I did feel like some of the puzzles really could have used a whiteboard as there were a lot of numbers flying around. Also some puzzles felt a bit like time sinks in guessing what exactly what was required of us or excessive time needed to reset entering a solution, which was frustrating at times.

Really fun room from start to finish. I understand why it ranks highly on the TERPECA list. Great use of different types of tech, interesting storyline and characters, good world building and atmosphere. Enjoyable for our group with mixed experience levels!

Standard fair for Trapped escape rooms. Good amount of tech instead of locks. All puzzles felt fair and were varied in type. I think there are better rooms (and spooky rooms) around for the price but if you are doing a few trapped rooms already I’d add it to your list of ones to do.

Solid room. On the easier side, but puzzles felt satisfying and it’s always fun to be separated in jail cells to start. I’d go to escape manor rooms if you’re in the mood for a few drinks (as you can order them in the room) and have fun as opposed to a crazy immersive experience
