The Sins of Doctor Faustus
Captivating Worlds
Escape room
IRL
Can't say enough great things about Captivating Worlds! This story was incredible, the props and technology were next-level. Loved that this was an hour and a half, because it felt even more immersive as a result of that. My husband and I were running around and enjoying it so much!

This one truly lived up to the hype! Right when you step in, you are immersed in the story. There was a good variation of puzzles, some physical, some scavenger hunt, and some more cerebral. The logic ones were a lot of fun, and this room definitely had a wow factor in terms of setting and scenery! This was more linear than many other rooms we've tried, but the flow worked so well that it didn't cause any complaints. A couple puzzles would have been a lot easier with more than 2 people, but we still made it out. Countdown is such an impressive location--- we did two rooms during this stay and definitely plan to be back!

Definitely only go into this room with a group you're comfortable with and if you aren't easily embarrassed by lots of sexuality and innuendo! With that said, this room was by far the most unique and ridiculous one my husband and I have ever encountered. So many of the puzzles had us cracking up while also being so impressed by how the theme was incorporated so well and so creatively. There were a TON of combination locks and it was just a single room, but overall, just a memorable experience!

Captivating W How orlds always blows us away! The theme of this room was super immersive, right from the beginning. It was very creative and unique. You can tell that David, the game master, puts a ton of hard work into the stories behind his rooms. Another escape room knocked out of the park!
Escape Your Nightmares
Nexus Escape Room

The premise was a lot of fun and there were some cool jump scares. There were a couple genuinely unsettling set pieces. It honestly felt a lot easier than other reviewers made it sound... I loved the room's theme and the intro video, but ultimately felt like it fell short because it felt pretty easy and we had high expectations. Seeing that it was ranked so highly on the Morty site, we expected it to have a bigger variety of puzzles or at least more challenging ones. Overall, there were a couple personalizations and cool tech pieces that were memorable, though!

This is by far one of my favorite escape room locations I've ever gone to! It's such an unassuming and small town, but the escape rooms always knock it out of the park. This one felt so immersive and had lots of very creative, unique, physical puzzles. One section of the room was so intricate, that I actually felt like I was in a real museum. I legitimately wanted to spend time looking at all of the items! Very impressive theming, and super fun!

Loved this room! The theme was super on point, and we truly felt like we were in a Grandma's cozy living room. Unique variety of puzzles and funny storyline. My husband and I have done lots of rooms, and this one was pretty challenging for us... Although, we did miss a couple more obvious clues that would have been helpful early on, making it much easier. Cool ambience in the whole place and an awesome GM that only gave us clues when we asked!

This room rocked! The building felt unassuming, but you can tell that they put a ton of heart into the rooms. At first, I wasn't sure what to expect, but the puzzles continue to grow and get more elaborate. At one point, my husband and I didn't know if we would make it out in time! It felt very theatrical and like you were a part of a movie. Very unique and fun immersion!
The Castle

Loved the set for this! It was truly remarkable how physical it was and how it has 3 stories. The theme was very immersive. Some cool physical puzzles and interactive screen puzzles. It definitely felt more like a scavenger hunt at times, so I could see it being more enjoyable for kids. A couple logic puzzles were pretty challenging but fun! We were cutting it close on this one for sure, but overall enjoyed it.

My husband and I love this place! For this room, there was a lot of climbing and dark tunnels. It felt a lot more elaborate than the Genie suite. If you have any trouble with mobility, tight spaces, or climbing ladders, I would not recommend this. But the puzzles were very unique and some were very creative. It definitely has a sexual vibe to it, so definitely believe what they share about it being designed for adult couples only! What also makes this room so unique is that you can take your time solving puzzles. After every few puzzles, you unlock a new room or activity to enjoy together, so you can take a break from the puzzles. Definitely get there right at 5pm when your evening starts so that you have time to enjoy everything! We didn't leave the room, stayed up past midnight, and still got up early to enjoy one last activity we unlocked. This room has so much to do! :D
