No More Late Fees 2 - CLOSEDThe Haunted HarvestHauntMazeHaunted houseThis was my first time checking this place out and I was impressed! This haunted corn maze is part of Frosty’s Forest and it cost $30 (30 tickets) for the maze. Don’t get this confused with the normal corn maze that’s open to everyone else. The first thing I noticed while waiting in line was their pacing. I was happy to see the gaps they were leaving between groups which makes for a better experience. I’m not sure I understand the story but that’s okay. It was exciting walking through the dark parts of the corn maze. The Scareactors were hidden really well! You should definitely add this to your Halloween to-do list!!!
Mary - The Haunting of Worth Home - CLOSEDKnott’s Scary FarmHauntMazeThis maze introduced us to one of Sarah Marshall’s (really Sarah Morgan) sister, Mary Worth (Bloody Mary). The set design was soo good! Each year Knotts keeps setting the bar with their craft. I wish there were more mirrors since we all know what mirrors could do! The lantern fx were not working for the first two weeks.
The Zoo - CLOSEDKnott’s Scary FarmHauntMazeI was a bit iffy about the theme but it works. There’s a massive footprint for one of the stunts if you pay attention to it and it’s pretty cool! There are some buttons you could interact with throughout the first half of the maze. Lights out was alright. They give you dim flashlights but I’d rather have no flashlight I felt bad pointing them into the Blackouts and the Talent.
Eight Fingers Nine: The Boogeyman - CLOSEDKnott’s Scary FarmHauntMaze8 Fingers 9 replaces Dark Entities. It is about a Boogeyman in the colonial times. The production of this is insane. I don’t get scared easily but I love an immersive theatrical stroll through a live play walkthrough maze. There was definitely some monologueing going on at the beginning.
Origins: The Curse Of Calico - CLOSEDKnott’s Scary FarmHauntMazeOrigins has become one of my favorite mazes through the years. I love the bits of history about Knotts and Sarah Marshall, the original witch of Calico, scattered throughout the maze. The set designs in each space was amazing and a lot of cool spaces for Scareactors to use. There are some great “wow” moments I don’t want to spoil. They do use a lot of multimedia throughout the maze, which is alright, but it was sometimes overpowering. Wait til you see Sarah!
