Definitely creeped out with some of the props, set design, and smell. It really brought me to those rough times. I’m not hating on the house. It’s a cool original concept from Universal
Stranger Things 5Halloween Horror NightsHauntHaunted houseThis was first house of the night and it did not disappoint. I finished season 5 not too long ago so a lot of the scenes that were reenacted were fresh in my mind so it was exciting reliving some those epic scenes. The pacing was great for us. We didn’t feel left out.
SinnersHalloween Horror NightsHauntHaunted houseThis was one of favorite houses this year. Mostly because of the glowing eyes and some of the iconic scenes played out. The pacing in the maze could be controlled better. There were moments that stopped the flow but it was not too big of a deal. If this one comes back, they should build it somewhere else in the park.
HellraiserHalloween Horror NightsHauntHaunted houseI grew up watching this so seeing this in the flesh was pretty awesome! The pacing with the talent was really good. I felt like they were ganging up on me. I don’t scare easily but I did love the attention.
Ozzy Osborne: Prince of DarknessHalloween Horror NightsHauntHaunted houseThe was a good tribute for Ozzy and it was a great production. The scaractors had a lot of energy and their pacing was really good. I felt like I was always in the right place at the right time!!!

The Scareactors were good as usual but the scenes just felt too redundant. Also the mask for the male Scareactors could be better.

Mary - The Haunting of Worth HomeKnott’s Scary FarmHauntMazeThis maze introduced us to one of Sarah Marshall’s (really Sarah Morgan) sister, Mary Worth (Bloody Mary). The set design was soo good! Each year Knotts keeps setting the bar with their craft. I wish there were more mirrors since we all know what mirrors could do! The lantern fx were not working for the first two weeks.
The ZooKnott’s Scary FarmHauntMazeI was a bit iffy about the theme but it works. There’s a massive footprint for one of the stunts if you pay attention to it and it’s pretty cool! There are some buttons you could interact with throughout the first half of the maze. Lights out was alright. They give you dim flashlights but I’d rather have no flashlight I felt bad pointing them into the Blackouts and the Talent.
TerrifierHalloween Horror NightsHauntHaunted houseThis is my favorite. Unlike most of their talent in their other mazes, Art interacts with you because he seeks acknowledgement. He also roams around outside. Everyone was worried about getting drenched but it was just a small squirt here and there.

Jason UniverseHalloween Horror NightsHauntHaunted houseThe wait for this sucked. Not only was there a long Express Pass, there was also groups skipping ahead of them. Set design was cool. One quick murder scene in particular earned an applause from everyone in the room! The only problem with this maze was it just felt like a bunch of rooms with talent acting out scenes and relying on cues.

The timing for me could have been better. I would always see them resetting. I didn’t get a one-on-one experiences with any of the gang.

FalloutHalloween Horror NightsHauntHaunted houseThis felt like a behind the scenes walking tour of the show where each room was a stage where actors perform the same scenes over and over again. I had to enjoy this in a different lens. This did not feel like a Haunt experience.
WidowsKnott’s Scary FarmHauntHaunted houseThis is my favorite maze this year! Knotts outdid themselves with this production quality. The interactions we had with a lot of the actors was great. The only thing I didn’t like was it got really humid in a few parts of the maze.
Eight Fingers Nine: The BoogeymanKnott’s Scary FarmHauntMaze8 Fingers 9 replaces Dark Entities. It is about a Boogeyman in the colonial times. The production of this is insane. I don’t get scared easily but I love an immersive theatrical stroll through a live play walkthrough maze. There was definitely some monologueing going on at the beginning.
