Paradox | The Incredible Time MachineRabbit Hole Recreation ServicesEscape roomIRLWow this was a great experience today! I've done a dozen escape rooms, most with our five kids, currently 6 to 16 years old. This is easily in our top three, might be our favorite yet. The Tardis-like structure in the photo for this room and the time machine thence is what got us here, nearly an hour drive from home. It was worth it! The host was very friendly, the room theme and atmosphere was great, the clues and steps had a great variety. We the parents stepped back this time to let the kids run the show. Only once did they get truly stuck and we were able to figure out how to get unblocked. That's not to say it's at a level that's easy for kids - or kids are great at escape rooms now. If this was our first (or tenth) escape room we'd likely have needed hints. We competed this fun room in 44 minutes. Even the waiting room is fun here! We'll be back to do another room.
The Sacred Lotus21 Keys Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLFun room, immersive, props, clues, games all on point. Solved with the kids (5 to 15 years old) with four and a half minutes to spare. Recommended.
Grim Stacks: Books & BindingPuzzle Effect - DenverEscape roomIRLVery good atmosphere, immersive feeling of the spaces. Fun with adults, fun with kids. Mysterious without being creepy. Magical without being occultic.
The President's BriefcaseEpic Escape Game - South DenverEscape roomIRLDid this with my family, including kids from five to fifteen and grandma. When I told my kids we were doing another escape room... The president lost the briefcase with the nuclear codes, they thought it was a news story. Basic room, not too complex - different locks to figure out with varied clues. Fun with finding clues, a few cool gadgets/tech. Staff were great.
Jungle Game4 Dreams Escape Game - DenverEscape roomIRLWe've done a number of escape rooms, but this was the first time we've done an escape room as a couple without anyone else with us. Just the two of us solved in 31 minutes. I was hoping there would be more. David was the game master, he was positive an energetic and welcoming. The atmosphere and game flow were good (except for the hint experience, see below), a nice break from rooms that are just a series of number locks. Good use of technology and different types of clues. We asked for only one hint, waited, and then the door opened and we're not in in immersive experience anymore, but looking out at the retail location. That really breaks the flow of the game and they should consider a speaker so the otherwise immersive experience isn't broken.
