The atmosphere, sound design, and jump scares were next-level — it genuinely felt like stepping into a real horror film. The puzzles were smartly designed and tied seamlessly into the theme, so everything made sense instead of feeling random. The staff’s commitment to their roles was both chilling and hilarious once we finally escaped. If you’re into horror, thrills, and brain-teasing challenges, this is an absolute must. I screamed, laughed, and strategized my way through — hands down a 10/10 experience!
My HomeINBLACK Escape Room - North YorkEscape roomIRLWe recently tried My Home, and although it wasn’t my first escape room with a live actor, it was definitely a memorable experience. The story, setup, and puzzles were all very well designed, and our actress Yulie delivered an excellent performance. The puzzles were not overly difficult—there was one that felt a bit confusing, but depending on how you interpret it, you might not struggle with it—and there were a few well-placed jump scares throughout. There is some intense strobe lighting that can leave you momentarily blinded, so if you have epilepsy, it’s a good idea to call ahead and ask about it. Most of the instruction cards and props come in both English and Chinese, and the instructions are also read aloud through the speakers. Overall, it was a really fun experience, and I’d definitely come back!
