maybe im just biased because we barely escaped this room, but i really didnt enjoy it or care for it. there were several puzzles in this room with obscure clues and not enough logic to help solve them there was literally one puzzle we couldnt figure out so we just guessed until we eventually got it right. even after we got through, we still don’t understand how it worked the worst part though is even the fair puzzles…werent fun. this was probably my least fav escape room here, the lows are low and the highs arent really that high 3/10 - not a room i’d recommend but fine if you’re really curious

quick note - we actually beat this room with less than 5 seconds to spare, my team and i never got that close ever holy anyway, room was fine. the story was messy and made like no sense, some of the puzzles werent working and some didnt even make sense at all, we just guessed and got lucky. but other than that the room was quite challenging, some of the puzzles were challenging in a good way and i really liked that aspect to it unfortunately the room is flawed and held back by numerous puzzles that ruin the pacing and just get frustrating because they are flawed. but this room has potential to be something really great, just needs some touch ups. imo its the best room at Oshawa, which is unfortunate because it isnt THAT good but the rooms are this location are unfortunately really poor 5/10 - flawed room but a fun challenge and worth trying out but be aware its got some moments that will make you sigh

overall a solid room! few of the puzzles were unnecessarily difficult but over all a good room. don’t have much to say but if you’re looking for a good challenging room its worth checking out for sure 7/10 - fun challenge with a fun theme, would recommend

wow i did not expect to enjoy that room as much as i did walked into the room and was immediately disappointed by a lackluster environment and just a ton of combo lock puzzles (my least fav) yet the puzzles were actually really intriguing and even difficult but not in an unfair way the game throws a crazy curveball at you near the end which made the game intense but not unfair. i think the pacing and atmosphere of the room could use improvement, the story also wasn’t anything to write home about but it was still a really good time 6.5/10 - great room, not perfect and has areas for improvement but overall a solid time

firstly just wanna say the staff here is incredibly nice and polite they were amazing to chat with and deal with as far as the room goes it was great! not very difficult and i really enjoyed the atmosphere, they did a good job of making it feel creepy. my biggest issue w the room is theres one auditory puzzle and i personally cant stand those, theyre always difficult and never fun to solve imo but other than that - really enjoyed the room. would recommend! 6/10 - just a very solid room, great for anyone just starting escape rooms or even moderate players

the room was actually a pretty decent challenge, i really enjoyed the thought that went into it, however a lot of the puzzles revolve around typing things into a computer which isnt the MOST fun but its okay the rooms atmosphere wasnt anything to write home about either but i get why, just wish the rooms was slightly bigger as it was easy to get stuffy quickly really can’t compare the theme to the TV show as ive never seen Death Note but I still enjoyed it a lot. good room, could use some improvements but its definitely more of a challenge than some of the other rooms here 6/10 - would recommend at some point for sure but maybe keep it to small group (4 people or less)

Cant believe how disappointing this room was, im going to go on a rant because i have a lot to say for starters, the staff only gives you 75 min for the room, not 90. but the room really should be 120 min long because theres SO much to do. so why take away 15 min even though its advertised as 90? i’ll come back to this The room is horribly littered with unnecessary cut scenes that eat up too much of your time, and loud audio descriptions that annoy you or are just overall unhelpful (and are borderline offensive) the puzzles mostly consist of a keypad and entering in a number, which is ridiculously juvenile considering the lengths you have to go to in order to understand and decipher the code needed. the puzzles arent just boring, theyre also difficult in all the worst ways. there are a few puzzles that are interesting but nothing at all that stands out. which is a shame because the theme-ing of this room is fantastic (not a spoiler) theres one part where you have to watch a LONG video to tell you how to complete a puzzle, but its so long with so many instructions that it isnt helpful and it defeats the purpose, not to mention you LITERALLY are being told the answer, it makes it all feel pointless and thats what clicked with me, no wonder they only give you 75 min - they keep the last 15 to walk you through the entire rest of the game because NO ONE IS COMPLETING IT this is easily the worst room at Omventure (both locations), which is fine because they have a TON of great rooms but this one needs serious work. my group and i went within the first month of this room release so im sure it needs more feedback, but this room clearly was not tested enough it needs to be 120 min long, 1/3 of the puzzles need to be ENTIRELY removed and the other 2/3 need to be refined (not simpler, just refined). the atmosphere overall is fine but also isn’t anything to write home about. i had hoped for better but it is what it is 2/10 - i wouldnt recommend this room until SERIOUS changes are made. at the moment the room sucks, but it has so much potential to be something great

this room annoyed me at first but grew on me as time passed. a lot of cool mechanics and the splitting up of team mates was really fun as well, thoroughly enjoyed finding our ways back to each other the puzzles flowed well together and the story was actually decently interesting, along with some cool atmospherical pieces my gripes are that we had a puzzle at the beginning that straight up wasnt working, and it halted our time a lot. also i cant stand the circus music that played lol highlights were definitely the room split and a really intense ending puzzle to finalize everything 8/10 - would recommend for seasoned escapists as this one was tough and we needed 2 hints to figure it out in time

albeit incredibly easy, the room was filled with cute atmospherical pieces that made it a fun cute experience highly recommend for anyone who is brand new to escape rooms or with small children. however i cant say id recommend this to anyone seasoned. not that this was a bad room, just that it wasnt anything too daunting puzzle wise 6/10 - very cute

room was a ton of fun, much like the other rooms at this location it really makes you think outside the box there were a few parts we struggled with and that i’d argue were’t really our fault (some of the physical challenges) that being said i think this room overall was designed incredibly well and i would recommend it to any room enthusiasts 8/10 from me - the highs are HIGH, but the lows (albeit it very few of them) are low
