Area 1: The PortalProject Immersive Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLMaybe one of the best escape rooms for atmosphere. The location was in the middle of nowhere, but this kind of made it even better as it felt more real. It was very immersive and the intro acting was among the best, and set the tone perfectly. The puzzles were quite creative, I was really impressed by them. This one really prioritises immersion over difficulty, but I appreciated it because it did it so well. Also, it felt notably bigger than other escape rooms.
테라포밍 [Terraform]Breakout Escape GameEscape roomIRLThis room tried to introduce an interesting mechanic having each player with a special power, but it just didn't quite work. It felt quite tacked on. The room uses a system where each puzzle is numbered to ensure you do the puzzles in the right order, and it kind of removed the fun of piecing things together yourself. Some of the puzzles were interesting, and the ending was kind of cool. However, I feel more energy should be put into enhancing the room generally rather than on the more gimmicky elements.
